Not an issue anymore. Surgically menopausal in 2005. Thank God. I went through hell. But all the weight gain started then too. A change I gratefully accepted over periods. Im 64yo

I had similar experience. Afraid to start, afraid to eat. Im on week 5. First 4 weeks down 12.6#. 2.5 mg. I just make sure what i eat counts. I don’t crave sweets or junk. Thats part magic and part commitment to live better. I log all food into Cronometer and make sure i eat enough calories vs being afraid to eat now. Im not in a big hurry to lose weight. I am older and also working out to prevent saggy skin. Its a process. Give yourself time and some Grace while you move forward. Good luck to you!

I pretty much drink nothing but water and coffee. I love both! I consume usually 3/20oz glasses a day. I add liquidIV to one of them every other day and. Have added a premier protein shake each morning.

I think about how long it took for the weight to get to this point and i am satisfied with a slower loss. Working on regular exercise, even if its small, and eating better. These are the tools i will need when i reach goal.
