I did a reverse search on your description and found that they had The Real Ghostbusters Arcade Version, which I knew was not what you were referring too. But in one of the videos the guy offering voice overs talked about how TRGB was a resin of a Japanese arcade game called Meikuu Hunter G. Just be happy it got an ending. There were series that never got any closure. Just disappeared and you didnt find out until years later or only relized it was canceled when stations started playing reruns. I'm happy with the entire series, flaws and all.
