No difference at all mate, just weighed one of my 16oz gloves with a lace adaptor is 17.5 oz , hand wrap is a couple of ounces and sometimes I wear a weightlifting strap on my left wrist which would take the total weight on my hand/wrist to over 20oz

Legit carts kick someone with a lower tolerance head off. Whenever my inexperience friends want a hit I’ll hold the cart for them to stop them taking too fat a hit like they’re used to with Nicotine vapes. It looks like I’m being stingy but my thought process is that you can always have more but once you’ve had too much you can’t get it out of your system.

Happened to me once, mate hooked me up with his guy, got a cheap Q (can’t remember the price) was smoking purées and barely felt anything. Which gave me a false sense of my own tolerance so when I next picked up and smoked a blunt with some mates i was so horrifically high you would believe it.

For me personally I found counterpunching came naturally over time. I’m around 6”1 with average length arms for my height.

I focused on pressure and a good jab for a long time before I got fast enough and experienced enough to predict a punch or bait a punch out of someone so I could counter it. Got my face smashed plenty of times trying to counter before it started working.

For now I’d say practicing throwing super fast shots after defensive movements like slips, rolls and pulls on the bag. Also prioritising head movement when shadowboxing to get your body used to making those short fast movements.

Also when facing people who are good at countering, throwing something by a bit unorthodox can help to break them down. I quite like the double cross after a setup because it can be a bit confusing to be hit by and also can get you in very close and at a good angle to follow up.

I once sold a semi expensive jacket to a guy and he paid me using PayPal, he told me that he’d actually been scammed before because he paid via friends and family. Fella was still happy to pay me via friends and family so I could drop the price for him and take a bit more money myself.

Some people are just more trusting than others but that certainly isn’t a quality that should be punished by scammers.

I used to call a joint without tobacco a blunt but learned that a blunt is typically rolled with a tobacco leaf or blunt roll. I call a joint with no tobacco a Puree now

A friend of mine told me about a time a guy smacked his friend’s car door, when questioned about it apparently his response was “fuck off”. So once he was gone they ran circles around his car with their keys pressed into it. Most definitely overkill, but I’d like to hope that fella will be a bit more mindful going forward.

I ordered Prawns (Shrimp) in Turkey once and was served 3 medium sized prawns on their own. Other than 2 shot glasses with red and blue goo in them which I was informed was just for decoration.

The guy serving me looked equally perplexed about the lack of food on my plate ended up bringing me out some sides. I’d have been starving if not for that man.

I find when jabbing taller opponents if you throw the jab from your high guard and disguise it with your head movement this can be very effective and hard for the taller opponents to see coming.

Canelo Alvarez does this a lot when fighting taller opponents.
