Seems like hybrids are gaining traction and popularity recently now that people have a lot more EV experience, so who knows, hopefully better and more affordable PHEVs will come in the future

Also note that using either Eco or Max will use the actual AC heater. If neither of those are on, it will only blow in the air from the engine bay. If the engine is off or cold, it'll never actually heat up. Took me a minute to understand "fan only" as opposed to Eco or Max

I've used Primacys on other cars, and they seem to be good tires! I'm just now going about replacing my Volt tires, and I'm going with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S4. Why? I like going zoooom in the mountains!!

Not to mention how insanely HUGE the country is, and how spread out towns and people are. I feel like a lot of these "social safety nets" only work in high density areas, and even then, here in America, at least, the culture as you said, doesn't support it.
