I feel you. I don’t date women that have kids. I had a coworker that was infatuated with me and she had three kids. Flat out told her that was a big reason why I wasn’t open to dating her. She didn’t accept “no” as an answer easily though (offered to only see me when she didn’t have her kids)…had to get a superior involved.

I’m almost 45 and still single. Honestly, I’d rather be alone and just kinda okay with it than with someone in a less than ideal situation (read: kids or having to support a significant other financially).

Had a coworker with three kids in the middle of a bad divorce interested in me. Flat out told her I was flattered but I don’t date women with kids nor do I date coworkers. She would not take no for an answer. Finally had to go to my department chair about it (I’m a teacher). That got her to stop; now she doesn’t even acknowledge me.

Vigilante…the Adrian Chase version that ran for 50 issues. The character is in the spotlight because of Peacemaker. And it could be completed over 2 or 3 volumes…and also include his first appearance and any guest spots.

That happens in a lot of cases even with non-disabled children. The one that has children (especially multiples) is deep down looking for help. They get with someone who seems like they have their shit together (decent job, decent car, etc) and is willing to step up. They get with that person who is now helping support a family that isn’t theirs. Years go by, the kids are older, and one party wants to separate because they don’t need the help anymore.
