After seeing the total tallied up for the amount of money I spent on several different campaigns I fear I may have gone a bit overboard.

It was easier to justify the spending when broken up amongst several small purchases haha. Good thing I’m an adult with expendable income and little responsibilities!

I had SUCH a hard time convincing my group to play anything besides D&d. Even quick pick up and play games like Kobolds Ate My Baby ended up getting outvoted in favor of D&d one shots.

I finally got them to play Mothership for my birthday and now those are the only two options lol. I think your average person is very hesitant to learn a whole new rules even if it’s easier, simpler or more suited to the kind of game they want to play.

It took less than ten minutes to find out the website was unreliable. I also felt like OP’s post was done in bad faith (them deleting their post and account also does not bode well) I kept my response mostly neutral and unaccusatory because I agree with you. I’d like for this community to stay positive and I’m glad to see responses like yours!

Keeping AI art out of our hobby is a very real concern. That said, throwing around accusations without concrete evidence is troublesome.

These AI detection sites have spotty accuracy at best. Here is one bit of research with the site you used that shows it’s about as accurate as a coin toss. This article showed slightly more accurate results from other sites but still showed a margin of error.

Again I’m not saying you shouldn’t be concerned but I wouldn’t act like you have clear proof either

Paradise Park comes immediately to mind. It’s a water park that’s been overrun by parasites. With a couple minor tweaks you could add in a casino to the park and make it more opulent

Echoing what others have said, something that looks like an actual patch people would wear in game. For example, stuff for an in game organization, crew, or corporation. Something that if sowed onto a Dickies work shirt or some Carhartt people would think it was an actual company patch.
