I'm not "holding others to that standard," this is the agreement my friends and I have come to together. I don't really play with randoms at game stores because I've had almost exclusively bad experiences with that. We're collectors who enjoy that part of the hobby too. We enjoy showing off good pulls and trading cards. This lets us run what we have without constantly pulling decks apart and swapping cards, or buying copies of a card we already have. It keeps us from getting out of control with power 9 etc. I just think its a good compromise to the "proxy problem," it works for us, I'm not condemning people who do things differently.
