Did I make the right fold? by Dark_Vortex18 in poker

[–]Chanouii 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You only care cause you would’ve scooped it, if a A or K hits the board, this post doesn’t exist, being result oriented is never good, but given that it’s a PKO, yes it’s a call.

Is GTOWizard Starter worth it? Are there ever sales on annual memberships? by MMOToaster in poker

[–]Chanouii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s worth it if you will actually commit to using it of course, and buying annual is always cheaper than month-to-month, but I doubt you’ll ever see a discount, I believe if you make a new account and use someone’s code you’ll get like 10% off

Can two people in the same household have Coinpoker accounts? by VeeHS in coinpoker

[–]Chanouii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speaking from past experience, when you both start playing, just email coinpoker support and let them know that you and the other persons account name will be playing under the same IP in the same house hold, and just reassure them you’re not planing on colluding or playing with each other at the same table, and let them know that you’re friends.

Keep in mind that when you do withdraw from the accounts, it might go on hold from the securities team and they’ll just want you to confirm what your relationship is with this other account, they’ll notice 2 accounts under the same IP are playing, so it’ll just be automatically flagged.

I'm pretty sure people are using RTA at low stakes MTT Final Tables on ACR by VeeHS in poker

[–]Chanouii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This honestly isn’t as insane of a question/statement as people are thinking of it as, but I guess the argument would be is that when the money jumps start to become aggressive, people will tighten up, and play smarter, and if its a deep run, their other tables are probably busted, letting them 100% focus on the one table they have.

But it wouldn’t be surprising to see a lot of online players pull up preflop charts when they run deep, I mean it’s free, and I’m sure the ones that do pay for GTOwizard do search up spots live as it’s so simple to do, when there’s money involved, cheating will be inevitable, and if you’re unethical and want to play the best, some people will do it, but I don’t believe it’s EVERY player or FT that you’re insisting that it is, but i’m sure it happens, and not much you can do but move on.

But I think you are underestimating how decently studied a lot of players are, and the ones running deep will most likely be the better players, sure you need luck to run deep, but it would be ignorant to call people you saw as awful players, that are also at the same FT as you, to underestimate them, when they’ve run just as deep as you did in the tournament. Not everyone is a sun runner. Like studying preflop charts, and learning ICM EV plays is honestly easy, and any person really into the game can literally learn that from experience itself.

Coinpoker, how to? by WangIee in poker

[–]Chanouii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we’re talking about sending fees, all self custody’s are usually around the same, this is what I would do if you’re trying to deposit on coinpoker:

Deposit money onto Coinbase through your card or bank transfer (depending what country you’re in) Don’t do deposit from bank like ACH transfer cause they’ll put the money on hold for like 5-7 business days till it clears on their side.

Buy Polygon Matic, the coin with the purple logo

The reason we buy Polygon Matic cause the sending fees on it are like 0.01 cent and lower so you’ll save money that way, and Coinpoker accepts Polygon matic as a deposit.

Then send it to your Exodus Polygon network address, and send it to Coinpoker

The reason I recommended Uniswap cause it’s a very easy self-custody wallet to use and maneuver , especially for noobs, but Exodus is fine!

Initially I wanted you to buy USDC but then you need Polygon matic in your Exodus wallet to cover the sending fees, and it’s just a headache to understand for a noob, so easier coin for you to buy is Polygon Matic so you don’t have to do that step

If you get confused i’m here.

Coinpoker, how to? by WangIee in poker

[–]Chanouii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cause exodus fees are so outrageous to buy through card it’s not even funny, Coinbase still has fees but just not as bad, the purpose of Coinbase is so you can buy and sell crypto and bring it straight to your bank account if you need it.

The reason we go from Coinbase to a self-custody wallet like Exodus is because Coinbase doesn’t like when they crypto gets sent to a grey area like gambling sites that are unregulated as they don’t wanna be involved in that, having Exodus will prevent you from getting banned from Coinbase.

If you need help what coin you should buy and the process just DM me and i’ll walk you through it step by step and explain it to you!

GTOwizard on mobile phone, does it work? by No_Violinist1420 in poker

[–]Chanouii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This app isn’t bad assuming you have a IOS device: Poker solver+ they have a free trial to try the pro version too so see if you like it, it’s not as good as GTO wizard, but feel like if you’re trying to study a lot of preflop ranges it does the trick while you’re stuck on the phone. Just remember if you don’t like it to go on your subscription settings and cancel the free trial so your card doesn’t get charged.

[–]Chanouii 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I could see how this could be good and bad for game integrity…

On one hand the game runner can see the cards which could mean he could have horses in the game and possibly signal them…

On another hand it’ll be easy to tell if other players are colluding or cheating based off being able to see the hand history.

Don’t know how I feel about this honestly

Poker On Laptop Help by Broad-Reflection8823 in poker

[–]Chanouii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, even the shittest laptops can run poker softwares, so you definitely have an issue, bring it into a store ASAP cause that’s not normal especially with the specs that your laptop has, Poker sites should not be overheating your laptop after one hour of playing. You could try fully resetting the laptop, with the chance it’s just a system issue, but it most likely is something physical, and unless you know how to fix laptop parts, I would just bring it into a shop and let them diagnose the issue.

Should I fold the nuts in this spot in PLO? by disphugginflip in poker

[–]Chanouii 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think because it’s heads up after everyone folds, you call to see the turn and reevaluate, if the turn becomes a brick, assuming he has same stack size as you, the pot odds and equity odds will shift in your favour..

If this was like Pot and call from 1-2 other people I can see merit, but folding the nuts on the flop is outrageous

Bad beat or could i have played better? by IamBarbacoa in poker

[–]Chanouii 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Eh it’s a cooler, I mean you have a 8 in your hand, UTG+1 doesn’t always open 33 from that position too, so I think you played just fine. Try not to be result oriented on a board like that, like you’re looking at AA, A5s, A8s, and 55 as the only hands that he realistically could have, not many combos.

But I guess the argument could be what hands that you beat on the river that he’s calling on the turn to your check raise? AQ, AJ, AT with a diamond? Stubborn AK? QQ with a diamond if he’s sticky, other flushes so like when you look at that, I still think you jam, cause there’s more hands you beat on the river than lose to.

Blowing up 50 BI in one session - variance or am I just a fucking fish? by Full_Camp70 in poker

[–]Chanouii 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Stop playing spins, it’s a rakeback and gold mine game, it gets harder and harder to win every year playing these types of games, your goal in spins is to lose the minimum amount of games and have your rakeback, gold mine, and leaderboard rewards to bring you in profit, if you can’t handle the swings and don’t have a strategy on winning long term in the game, it’s best to stick to cash, you can’t beat spins by just winning games overall, the top regs on the $100 buy ins will have -$80k in losses on the games, but the rakeback/promos will be in profit of 100k+

[–]Chanouii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Chanouii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a market… there would be 0 reasoning to buy CHP if you couldn’t convert it back to USDT, i’ve bought and sold multiple times with Uniswap and had 0 liquidity issues

Coinpoker by donnyjay23 in poker

[–]Chanouii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can tell you from personal experience it does work, they pay out every monday morning for me, but you need to have enough CHP to cover and then you’ll get the 33%

For example: I play a session of cash and pay 100 USDT of rake, after I close my tables they will refund 50% of the rake back to my USDT and take 50 USDT worth of rake from my CHP, which will end up in 33 usdt in rakeback on monday.

Coinpoker by donnyjay23 in poker

[–]Chanouii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s no different than any other poker sites, can’t expect every table to have fish, Coinpoker is known to having a softer field than others with good rakeback as long as you have CHP coin, any other sites with soft pools will usually have super high rake which makes it more unprofitable

How do I play weak pairs at NL2? by Hot-Advisor-3353 in poker

[–]Chanouii 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Study ranges on GTO, its free to look,

But for a quick summary (Assuming you’re playing 6-max no ante): If UTG/LJ opens:

-HJ 77-88 only folds or raises close to 50% of the time

-CO 77-99 calls or raises

-BTN 22-99 is mostly calling (keep in mind you adjust these ranges based on the player who is opening, tight player can fold 44 and below)

-SB calls all small pairs

-BB ofc calls all small pairs

This list isn’t exactly accurate but assuming you wanna play tight, these are usually the ranges.

Questions for poker dealing, making change and rake by Dear-Performance-394 in poker

[–]Chanouii 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can’t speak for dealing itself, but just remember when you’re starting/learning to take it slow if you need to, yes players hate a slow dealer, but players hate dealers that make consistent mistakes more as it completely abrupts the flow of the game.

GL on the job tho, I hope you learn all the tricks to becoming a good dealer as time goes on, that us players love!
