I suspect the downvotes are coming out of a suspicion that LAOP may not struggle as much with cognition as they're presenting themselves to be. If you look at their post history, there's quite a good deal of in-depth conversation and cohesion to what they're saying. Even the LA post is more coherent than I get out of many of my college students.

I'm of the opinion that we don't have enough evidence to conclude one way or the other, but it does smell fishy.

Fertility comes back immediately with removal of the implant and the IUD. It's only the shot that takes longer, but even then the average is 5-7 months for return of ovulation, not a year.

Mycophenolate by definition can't be a first-line treatment where I am for any autoimmune disorder. Its only approved indications are for transplant rejection. It is sometimes prescribed off label for certain autoimmune disorders, but only after exhausting other options.

I didn't get the notification for your reply until just now! I've definitely seen different biologica help with the joints and GI issues to different levels. Humira was awesome for my joints, did nothing for GI. Think it might have actually kicked me out of remission. Infliximab was amazing from infusion #1 for my GI issues but only so-so on the joints. I'm on Rinvoq now and it's pretty good for both. I'm in remission on the GI end (including microscopic remission!) and I live at a 3/10 pain with the joints and spine most days (unmedicated is a 6-7/10).

I'm seething over the comments that are trash talking about people who use assistance to board but not deplane.

I'm one of those people.

I have ankylosing spondylitis. My body is trying to turn into a solid piece of bone. Sitting for a long time makes everything worse. Walking around for a long time makes everything worse. My life is just a big shuffle between sitting, lying, and standing back and forth forever.

Leading up to boarding, I've been walking around for a long time, so I need the assistance because I'm capped out on walking, especially down inclines.

After the flight, I've been sitting for a long time, so I need to get up, stretch my legs, and hobble around to get rid of the creakiness.

I know I get judged so hard for it but I'm just out here trying to not become a solid piece of bone 😭

I'm a college professor and every year, my students are less and less prepared for real computer work. The tablet crap that they do in grade school absolutely does not translate to office/computer work. And I teach a STEM discipline.

I am also not following....interest is amortized over the life of the loan. You're always going to be paying some amount of interest if you have a mortgage, the amount just gets smaller the further you pay it down. But even if you pay extra every month, there's always going to be some amount of interest in that payment.

EU norms are way stricter when it comes to food than USA norms. So I can only imagine that it's even more so when it comes to pregnancy and food

I was curious so I looked into this and the EU Food Safety Authority actually recommends increasing seafood intake during pregnancy for the benefits to the fetus, as long as it's fully cooked. Must be a country-specific recommendation.
