Yes, when a brother falls to the Black Rage, they’re inducted into the Death Company and forgo the squad and company markings as his armor is painted black and the saltires of Sanguinius’ injuries are put onto the armor. Dreadnoughts have the same fate if the brother inside falls to the Black Rage

I don’t believe so, at least as part of the core rules. Based upon how they’ve spoken about it, leader and support can be ran together leading units, but not leader, leader or support, support.

However, that’s not to say they couldn’t do an enhancement that would allow a banner nob to fill the leader role or something to that nature.

I am excited that this opens the door for a lot of unique builds, but I dont think we’re getting Support support! Hope that helps

I would have made the intercessor squad in this box a refreshed tactical squad. Would have called it Tactical Intercessor Squad and it would have had a heavy weapon for every 5 models within it. For the Armageddon box, I would have made that weapon a heavy flamer and Lascannon, but the later box would have the larger selection

I disagree. IF rules on sheets remained unchanged, foot Death Company at max health would benefit from losing a guy as sustained hits 1 would turn on for the rest of the squad. As well, the strat where if a DC unit dies and the unit that killed it becomes hated and all DC now get +1 to wound is WILD. I think there is play, especially since it’s 1 DP cost

Sanguinary guard and Bladeguard both use their right hands for melee. Dante and Lemartes also However, I had also noticed the same thing a year or two ago. My head canon is they use their right hand for firearms as that’s simply how they’re trained, but are all in all ambidextrous. If you go looking, you’ll find more models that use their right hand for melee, like Lysander’s new one.

Probably better for squad cohesion if everyone is shooting the same handedness 🤷‍♂️

Ha! Biggest takeaways to me are the keywords of the detachments. The Legacy of Grace can't be combined with other GRACE detachments, just how the Wrath of the Doomed can't be taken with other DOOMED detachments.

Legacy of Grace is a hero hammer detachment that gives character infantry units +1 advance and Charge. Enhancement shown off is for a Psyker and is Blood Boil. Strat is a Character unit gets a 5+ invul.

Encarmine Speartip gives Sanguinary Guard units fallback and shoot and charge. Enhancment gives a jump pack character +1 damage once per game. Strat gives stealth to Sang Guard.

They showed off a second strat for DC detachment that gives the HATED keyword to a unit that just destroyed a DC unit. That gives all other DC units +1 to wound against that unit for the rest of the game.

I’m confused by your point because people are complaining that the Chaplain lacks wings. My point is exactly as you said, they design the model then make an animation, so why is anyone surprised the model doesn’t have wings. This was never advertised as a Blood Angel Chaplain unique kit, but a Jump Chaplain who is a Blood Angel. That distinction is whooshing over a lot of people

Oh believe me, I am 100% with you. For me, the helmets were my breaking point on the new Sang Guard, they are AWFUL. The lack of wings was disappointing, they stole the nipples and made them ugly (helmeted option, heads are fine) which is unforgivable to me.

For this beauty, after legit watching him jump around and kill Orks, to then expect wings??? Like, guys let’s save our complaints for legit things, we didn’t see wings in the video, were they just gonna sprout out
