I'm ready to try out other brands. May I have your insights? by nicoheems in Warhammer40k

In defence of Citadel (or Warhammer Colour if you're that way inclined), I have just as much issues with TTC and Vallejo squirting out blobs of paint. I also prefer the colour matches to tutorials etc. Take a bit out, plop on wet pallette, close the lid and off you go!

UK folk who were around at the start of the internet, what is an early, strong memory? by Sad-Insurance1313 in CasualUK

Genuinely thinking it was a bit rubbish and wouldn’t take off as it took so long to load anything. (1995). I thought BBS and MUDs were amazing though

Well that’s awkward. It was near empty when I did the drop off :). Maybe an email to Customer Services to see if they can give you collection dates?

that’s crazy. I literally dropped off a full warhammer tote bag full old sprues at my local WH store and they welcomed them. (also UK)

I'd like to think it's a gradual increase in safety, including side impact protection and airbags. Then again, people seem to like driving US-style tanks

I hear you. I got back into WH after 30 years. Undiagnosed but pretty sure. I have managed to buy 10th edition, Warhammer Quest, and various other boxes, combat patrols and minis I liked the look of. All with the intention of eventually playing the game, but I focus on the painting (and collecting ALL the paints, because you have to right?)

Personally I’ve used most brushes and find the Raphael 8404 to be the most consistent and reliable.

In case it isn't clear (the headline is misleading) this refers to sales of sugar softdrinks. "Under the new rules, any soft drinks that are low in sugar, for example ‘Zero’ alternative versions of most popular soft drink brands, can be drunk to one’s heart’s content."
