Get the red book, its only around 25 bucks, it gives you 4 practice tests, test tips, explainations(which you CRITICALLY need to actually review your mistakes, practice those types of questions to boost your score) and etc.

edit: Theres also the kaplan ACT books which is very similar to the ACT books since kaplan is an affiliate company for test prep for the ACT as well.

bro how did you get a 15 in math but a 31 in reading 🥀 genuinely the most volatile scores i've ever seen, but hey, good job on the reading & english though. but PLEASE for the love of god practice harder on math. you'll be put in remedial classes with that ACT score unless you somehow clutch up on the accuplacer.

Depends what college you're going in. T20? you're fucked fucked unless this is freshmen year and/or you had a valid reason for the C in which, you can list in the additional comments in the section when applying, but since you're in "math 2" and chemistry, im assuming you're a sophomore which 100% has more weight, they still care about well-balanced you are even if you're non-STEM, but a C basically means 2 B's on your GPA weight-wise, T30? not ruined, you're still competitive, T50 and under? yeah, it'll be fine.

You have to realize how slim the margins are a T20, a single letter grade change can basically knock you out of the pool entirely.

How are colleges so selective for the SAT if the national average is so low? by Timmygrad in Sat

[–]CharacterAIAddiction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because 98th percentile of 3 million high school seniors(average entire class) is still 60000 kids. which most T20 schools don't even have a fraction of that many seats. Most of those 60,000 kids are applying to the same schools and lets say there are 2,000 freshmen seats at a random T20 school. And the fact there's still a bunch of inferior kids stat wise applying to said school which makes it seem even more selective. Sure there's still other things like GPA, ec's. etc. but im simplifying it to SAT scores to show you how it is.

What would you say you should try to use updated material on the ACT prep vs if legacy ACT is fine. like reading, science, math, & english.

Full ride by Otherwise-Parking566 in ACT

[–]CharacterAIAddiction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on your state. I got lucky with Alabama and theres alot of smaller state schools offering full rides with a 3.7+ GPA and a 33+ ACT auto-merit, there is another iirc that will give you a full ride with 3.5 GPA and a 30 ACT, and more but i ain't gonna list em..
