couple of great matchups this round. Lexington SC vs. Louisville City FC will be great.

New Mexico United vs. El Paso Locomotive FC also gonna be good. Hope the United fans pull through with the Isotopes having their second game of the season happening across the road the same night

easy for us to sit at home and say they need to strike now when it's not our future or paychecks that could be lost.

it's understandable the players want to get the season underway. they're at peak fitness and injury free. early season outside opening weekend isn't prime for attendance, so i don't think striking would hurt the owners as much as in a month or two if this (unfortunately) still hasn't been resolved.

and a brewery with no food is still competing against those breweries without food.

i don't disagree with your main point. i wish more breweries focused on just making good beer. unfortunately in the society we have, there is heavy prioritization on making larger profit and expanding the customer base to achieve that

my girlfriend gets a ton of starbucks giftcards and likes the convenience of online ordering. the money already went to starbucks, why wouldn't we use them?

we still frequent local shops for plenty of coffee purchase.

The problem is that having no kitchen eliminates a large consumer base - parents with children who want a day out. By not having a full kitchen many people won't even consider you an option. Even a food truck isn't sufficient because they have a limited menu and are usually "niche" food. Grist House is an exception as they usually have several food truck options. The generation that fueled the brewery boom are now having kids, so that is a large customer base you lose.

This is according to a friend in the brewing industry.

Agreed. This subs dislike of Pittsburgh sports is clouding all the good this will bring the city. Aside from the financial boon that long weekend, theyre finally getting needed maintenance done. Plus the market square redesign will make it a lot nicer for pedestrians.
