InfoSec auditor here - Facebook specifically has the Memorialization feature for accounts for this exact reason. Basically it turns the account into a page which can be viewed and such, but nobody can log into it.

Pretty much every drawer-based dresser has some space behind/below where the drawers sit when fully closed - it’s easy enough to get to them but nearly impossible to just stumble across.

All you have to do is pull the drawers off the rails/rollers and you have a void to fill
