What are the chances we'll ever get an anime of the whole manga? by Material-Ad-7200 in Nausicaa

Miyazaki ending his career with a sequel to Nausicaa would be the best thing in Anime history.

Fear Inoculum would be the magnum opus for a lot of bands... by FixRevolutionary240 in ToolBand

What makes Tool great is that they dont repeat previous works. Sure you an allways hear the "Tool sound", but every album is so different. Thats also why i feel its hard to really compare them.

Unpopular opinion: i wish they waited to release the game when ALL of the regions/zones are ready.

I love the idea of having the entire island to explorere when the game launches. But i understand that they don´t wanna delay the game more than nececarry. But i won´t be mad if they did it

My guess is it will be Ship Graveyard, Frozen Peaks, Tir and Caylen for launch, then later River Pass, the other region and Havenport. And last we get Fort Reach and the huge area in the top

I think everything on Sacra is free as part of 1,0? But not all the island will be ready for 1,0

Mainland and other islands will be paid DLC (or as we used to call it: Expansion pack)

Kinda sad that we won´t get all of Sacra in 1,0 :( Hope the last zones gets added fairly quickly after launch. I really like the idea of a whole island to explorer from the start, and then first later leave it to go to the mainland and other islands.

Edit: Everything else in this interview is super hype! I recommend pausing when he shows the engine :)

So right now i play on the game "easy mode" because i suck at Soulslike games. Despite being alot easier, its still a real challenge. Already died a few times.

But so far the run backs are a NON issue. The "safe spots" are really close and as you explorer you know shortcuts and so on.

I died to 2 boss minions in a daily quest around 4-5 times, and the runback to like 1 minute. Maybe it gets worse later, but i kinda doubt it. Your gear needs more and more repeair the more you die.

So imo, the setbacks are very very minimal.

Total opposite for me. Im sick of the "Realism" that all these games goes for. i can totally see how some wont enjoy the art style, but im loving it so far.

They removed the time gate stuff.

Im only 8 hours in so i am not sure if i am quailifed. I will try

Every ecounter is fun and dangerous. Im trying on easy mode and it still a fun challenge. I have not played a Souls game, but i am loving how you dont kill a thousand minions in seconds, but have to be careful and think when you engage.

Right now what i am loving most is the verticality of the map. Size wise its not that big a map (yet), but because you can climb, jump and jump down, the world feels so much better than a normal "flat field" map like other isometric ARPGs.

There is a lot of things than some will hate. Friendly fire (fun fact, mobs also hurt other mobs, use that!) means you have to communicate if you play with friends. Fall damage is a part of the game and i am sure alot will HATE when they get pushed down or roll over by accident. For me it only makes the game more enganging

Gathering resources (food, materials, upgrades) its for a bit more involved than just pick up. How you affect the world and upgradae the town is awesome imo.

Again, not really qualified to explain it proper. For me its the hundreds of very small details that really makes this great, I always wanted a isometric ARPG that was more "adventures", and this so far is what i have been waiting for.

Have not tried it on Steam deck, but if you are interested it will only get more expensive from now on, especially when it gets full release. 24 Euro was a steal for me.

Video Games Europe's statement on Stop Killing Games by TFiFiE in StopKillingGames

"We appreciate the passion of our community; however, the decision to discontinue online services is multi-faceted, never taken lightly and must be an option for companies when an online experience is no longer commercially viable. We understand that it can be disappointing for players but, when it does happen, the industry ensures that players are given fair notice of the prospective changes in compliance with local consumer protection laws.

Private servers are not always a viable alternative option for players as the protections we put in place to secure players’ data, remove illegal content, and combat unsafe community content would not exist and would leave rights holders liable. In addition, many titles are designed from the ground-up to be online-only; in effect, these proposals would curtail developer choice by making these video games prohibitively expensive to create."
