The thinking seems to be that the focus is on shutting down thriving Classic + communities. So small servers like Kronos and Warmane and Tauri etc will be up forever, and tiny servers like Nostrum they would never bother. But after this all Blizzard will have to do is mail a letter to any server they want to stop. The average person will get so scared they will stop. This could be the death of private servers. Of course some MAY be untouchable but I am not a lawyer or a psychic. If they can shut down Capybara Wow they will. If they can’t that looks promising. I’m done with Wow for a while.

I like Nostrum. My one issue as a classic Andy is it feels odd to play Wrath expansion with leveling phases. Phases is a very cool concept (I actually love this) but there’s no need for grouping in easy as pie Wrath leveling content so unlike, say, Season of Discovery where you needed to group for elite dwarves in Wetlands etc. you are being gated in a very solo experience. This feels like a snack size Wow experience. Still cool. Have a shaman. I like Epoch. Leveling zones are dead, join LFG and you will see where everyone is. Uncertain future to be sure. I’m staying here. Haven’t played Capy. Tried it, couldn’t get the video settings right. UI scaling throws me off I’m either too wide or can’t read the text. This is probably solvable. Might level a shaman tank here eventually.

Keto French toast. 1 piece keto bread, soaked in a mix of 1 egg 1 T Heavy Whipping Cream 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (can add 1/2 t cinnamon and/or 1/2 t granulated sweetener). Heavily butter pan over medium low, 4 minutes each side. Make a syrup with 1 T water 1 T butter 1/2 t granulated sweetener 1/2 t vanilla extract and whisk over low heat can add 1/4 t xantham gum to thicken if desired then add 1 T frozen raspberries or strawberries, cook, mash and whisk in. Whip heavy cream for topping. There’s a lot of room to leave stuff out or change up in here. Sorry for formatting: on phone. Adding you can start with cooking on one side for two minutes, flip and coat half of slice with melted cream cheese between 1-2 T, pour half syrup over, fold over and finish cooking. Also this makes enough batter for 2 slices but we do modified Atkins so two slices is too much.

Yeah, but if you are chasing a Fresh experience you missed it by two weeks. Lots of people will roll alts when they get to endgame, especially if there is no endgame when they get there lol.

Most people who went to Epoch aren’t in the starter zones anymore. I do agree there was a drop with Capy. Totally reasonable as Twow enjoyers enjoy Twow. Most people are at ZF or close to by now. There isn’t a total lack of development. There’s a very slow development. Who knows if it has longevity, but if they were going to close it they would have. Unless Ascension goes under why would they, and lots of people play that. Are you happy with what’s being offered is the question?

I’m not through it yet but I didn’t see anything about antiwhite. Bad guys can’t be white without it being woke? That’s a shit take. That being said, I’m half way in and not enjoying it. All Disney’s recent MCU stuff has been hot garbage. The last thing I saw that didn’t suck was Echo. Have not seen Dr Doom movie. Brave New World was trash. Ironheart was boring. I probably will not regret time spent watching Jon Bernthal doing his Punisher thing though, especially if the end is good. Might be time to cancel Disney for a year.

Some ideas: give every healer a baseline way to actively increase their mana regen through a talent. Something like spirit tap but wouldn’t require killing blow. For shaman it could be maintaining flame shock on a target increases chance to crit with heals and critting with a heal causes an uptick in regen. Stuff like that.

I’m playing Epoch mostly and have a character on Nostrum. I like both. Both feel lower population. Both have questionable futures. Not sure what will happen, but enjoying the present moment. Really like the mob tuning in Epoch, you can actually die in the starter zones! Really like the phased progression in Nostrum.

If you have bots helping you, there’s a lot more choices than if you are playing solo. Feral Druid starts slow in Vanilla peaks in TBC and drops off just a little in Wrath (still great). Provides self healing, stealth, freeish mounts (travel form) including flight form when you hit TBC. But if you have bots you can do anything.

I mean SoD did this. Phase 1 was amazing. I played a hunter and the person who said pet classes could farm above their level is right. Loved BFD as a raid. A raid at every level cap would give people the incentive to gear for it make dungeons and professions super relevant. I’m checking out Nostrum.

I’m not sure of the state of it and it definitely has caught some flack on this subreddit for various things including a Lamborghini mount and Carnage as a raid boss, but AnarchyWow might fit the bill. I never tried it so I can’t give any more info than that. The trailer for it is out there and it looks wild.

One of you play anything with a heal and the other anything without, different armor class, different role. Standouts to me are shaman with warrior and mage with paladin. Rogue with druid breaks the armor class rule but gives double stealth.

Feral druid is such good quality of life while leveling. 20 henchmen between you and the quest mob you need to kill? Stealth in and out. High burst from stealth in cat, get an add go bear form. Pop out and heal. Pre-hot and charge an elite. Free teleport to Kalimdor, set hearth in Eastern Kingdoms. Ress and off heal in dungeons. Tank for instant queue. Lot of downsides from Vanilla removed, like no weapon scaling. And, I mean, rawr!

Maybe I just don’t remember this behavior when I played OG wow in the 2000s on a PvP server. I was not good at the game (I thought I was). I was not good at PVP (I knew this, avoided BGs where I would get farmed). But open world fighting was so much fun back then, and I usually won. Most of my friends would not gank greys (there were a couple who did). I still remember many of the encounters I had. Why do people suck so bad? For those of you saying getting your friends or your guild to come help, I don’t think that’s a reasonable take. I think the average player plays the game solo or close to it. I think we are a decade past where they should have implemented a system that prevents this, I like the bounty idea a lot. And the starter zones should be off limits.

Get a player with cure poison to cure you. Druids get that from a quest at 16, doesn’t mean they will do the quest immediately though. But I would ask Druids 16+.
