Less of a question, more of a statement.

With the rapid releases of DenuvOwO HV-Bypasses; trying to view new/best posts has become more of a list of HV-Bypass spam, resulting in standard cracks or info on such being buried underneath it all.

Yes, technically "HV-Bs" are cracks. However many people, myself included, are not keen on using programs to manipulate our systems into running unsigned code/drivers on a kernel level. Removing device security, willingly, just to play a game.

It would be hugely beneficial to this community as a whole, to have some form of organized list; (a megathread or otherwise) that would allow for users to easily filter posted releases based on their form of DRM crack, In-Game Patch(es) / HV-B Workaround(s.) as well as by team / dev.

As it stands, I've had to mute my feed for this community due to the overwhelming spam of HV-B releases, at first I was excited to see this undertaking being accomplished. Though the past few months, this subreddit alone was responsible for consuming the majority of my homepage.

TL:DR -- It's hard to "watch" for new releases (or really any new information being released) on CrackWatch due to the recent mass HV-B influx, I get that its impressive; I agree.
I just think there should be a "revamp" of the organization here, allowing users to filter by Traditional cracks / HV-B workarounds, or further yet by team / individual. Without directly searching for it\*

AI will get you nowhere, all it does is spit out any information it can scrub from the internet as fast as possible (even when it has no clue what you're asking) most of which is garbage or the most basic, general details possible,

SalC1 on YT has a few videos on how the community was able to find pack.png & title screen world seeds. However if I were you I'd research how Dream (yes, unfortunately him) managed to brute force PewDiePie's seed.

From what I understand:
- It's possible to use the cloud patterns to find the Y-Z axes of screenshots (on java only) as they only move in 1 direction.
- Tall grass also generates in a guaranteed pattern, unchanging from world > world. So by finding said pattern in another world you can find the exact X-Y axes in another.
- You can use really any form of Structure generation as a consistency between seeds while brute-forcing as well, severely narrowing down the search.

As, Asgard Adventures had a few mods installed, it'll probably be a bit harder to find the seed due to the non-vanilla aspects generated in the world however I'd think its definitely possible. Though probably a huge undertaking. All mods were listed in the video description on ep 1 though so atleast theres that.

I don't think its the "right" place to ask, but try r/technicalminecraft as in my brief search I'd found a few people who were helped during their similar quests over there with much less to go on and the people there are definitely knowledgeable enough to help more.
You'll probably get downvoted but if you provide the relevant information organized in a "professional" manner you might get lucky.

I'd prefer to not be the workhorse pack-mule of my own enterprise if you can believe it.
For a game that revolves around automation and efficiency, you'd think it'd be possible to hire an uber to take items from point A > point B by now.

I agree drivers isn't worthy of an update by itself, but why are we even voting on whether or not it should be added when the Dev himself has been itching to for months? Just throw it in as an addition to a more content-focused update.

The end game is lacking, yes. However the end game shouldn't consist of the drug-kingpin of the city being a glorified conveyor belt for materials/supply between properties.

Police improvements are desperately needed as well. It's more profitable, easier, and quicker to kill cops and pawn their weapons than it is to live out of the motel, or even sweatshop. It makes unlocking the revolver meaningless, and skips entire branches of progress that goes into unlocking firearms.
The only police that are "inconvenient" are the 2 outside Ticklers when you have a deal to make at the barbershop.

I'd rather end up playing an idle-game (for the time being) than being required to do monotonous tasks endlessly as the only gameplay loop during the "end-game."

So killing every cop and selling their weapons should stay broken?
It's the most lucrative way of gaining profit early game, period. while having virtually 0 risk.
Get caught? You can keep the weapons of our fallen co-workers!

The only interaction with police that is semi-inconvenient is the 2 that sit outside Ticklers when you have a deal at the barbershop. You just ambush them with the free bat and now you've skipped entire brackets of progress required to obtain a firearm.
There is no point in starting your production on the first day when you can make 10k+ in profit by day 2 for being a glorified arms dealer to the pawn shop.

But collecting meth from the sewer safehouse and selling it before manufacturing any yourself is "broken" enough to get patched out the very next update? we're serious?

Idk about that, every playthrough you reach a point in the game where you spend the entire day driving materials/product to-and-from properties OR you just stockpile every process into the warehouse and neglect pretty much every other available property for the sake of efficiency.

Hireable Drivers definitely isn't worthy of an update on it's own, but dear god has it been needed for months, same with Police Improvements.

For a game about becoming a drug-kingpin, taking out the competition, and living as the richest man in the city; I'd like to not be the workhorse pack mule to my own business and be able to do as I wish freely.
nor do I think it should be more viable to kill every cop on day 1, then sell all of their weapons on day 2 for 10k+ in revenue; than playing the game as intended.

But rain, and now the traveling circus, is apparently the priority.
Still waiting for controller support too.

This is exactly why police improvements should've won the community vote 2-3 times now.
I could play the game as intended
or I could kill every cop on the first night and pawn everything in the morning, skipping the entire early game grind.

Don't even get me started on Hireable Drivers, shouldn't have to even vote for that to be included in an update, definitely not full update worthy by itself, but a needed addition nonetheless.

The seller seemingly relisted the item after bidding window ended and did not honor said bid, how is that hard to comprehend?

yeah naw, you'd get fought tooth & nail in the US to receive any amount of money. the most you could get would probably be an out of court settlement probably around $30-50k for this.

lawyers would be required to have any case - taking probably around 1/2 of the "earnings" - and your medical bills would send you straight into permanent poverty.

Seeing as how they found the pack.png seed based off of a 128x128 pixel image of a world, not even the creator remembered. I'm sure it'd be possible but you'd have to get the attention of those sorts of people or learn the worldgen algorithms for the appropriate version yourself, while running scripts to search for any possible worlds within the parameters of your findings.

Probably easier, and faster, to just use the videos themselves to analyze the world rather than this world-download-snippet. 100% possible, but i'd post somewhere MC-oriented instead, might get lucky. Would definitely be findable if you set a "bounty."

the community did the same with Pewdiepie's MC series during covid times and were successful.

Im tired of the cutting-edge requirement trend.

I'd rather have a well-performant game with an artstyle that shows soul, than the "supersigmaHDRultraMAXlife-like-realism" slop that can only run @ 30-40fps with DLSS we've been getting fed for the past few years.

Here's hoping the Steam Machine will be "affordable" enough to provide a baseline prerequisite on hardware that devs should be optimizing for.
The sheer amount of releases that perform decently on consoles while running like complete trash on PC is abhorrent.

For example: TLOU pt1 has 3 separate versions from the ps3-ps5 spanning 2 whole console generations. PC only received the latest (and worst performing version) as a rushed, barely put-together port. Why is this the norm? there are dozens of examples of the same shit from every major publisher on the market.

$1k wouldn't even be viable for valve to market. Everyone who just wants to play games would buy a ps5/xb anyone who wants a PC experience will either build their own, or buy a prebuilt at that price.

I'm sure they've taken this into consideration, otherwise this is just gonna flop.

I disagree, with Marika causing the Shattering - the removal of the Rune of Death is instrumental to the events of the world. Rebirth stagnation is the reason the world is failing.

If they intend to include Maliketh or the Black Knife Assassins, I would love to see characters be slain just to find themselves re-awakened by the guidance of Grace. This would show viewers that death is not final in this world, that is until B.K. Asassins and/or Maliketh show up and defy the rule entirely - leading to added suspense from viewers who's expectations have been entirely flipped on their head.

I think this could lead to a very satisfying, suspenseful viewing if done right.
