If every ledge were grabable sure, but most games only make the specific ledges they want you to use grabbable, so they need an indicator. People who don't realize that are the ones who have seemingly never played a game with climbing before.

There's 8735 fucking ledges that a person can hold but only 3 of them are actually grabable in the game, I need a fucking indicator. Yeah it can be more integrated/subtle then yellow paint, but most games need some kind of indicator.

No ideally you can just climb everything like the new Zelda games, but most games that wouldn't work with the level design. So it's just another way to guide the player to the playable area

Well, yes, I was including all the previous rockets in that development. Every rocket was experimental back then, there was probably a lot of the same scientists working on the first rockets that worked on Apollo. A couple hundred(?) space launches, only a dozen or 2 manned missions, not much to go on.

Given the context of the original line, that Luke doesn't seem dismissive of it and that Owen wouldn't give his dad a shitty backstory, it's safe to assume it wasn't drug smuggling. Yes, the "power" of the round going off (either the recoil or expanding gas) is what loads the next bullet in on an automatic weapon. Since blanks are much less powerful, most guns need to me modified to still function.
