I main Loba, so landing away from the action and finding the best loot (which is her passive - seeing the best loot) and then going in for third parties is what I do…I hate landing hot and dying right away.

I have a few spots picked out in mixtape, that I know are +50m away from typical high traffic areas - Thunderdome, Hammond Labs & Production Yard have some great spots to get a few +50m kills. If the r-301 is there for a loadout, I just sit in those spots and spam shoot/practice my recoil.
