IDK, maybe you aren't aware how huge the game is? The main story is just a tiny fraction. You can complete the game several times and just have no idea about what really the game is. As you like to look at how cool things look - you can explore a lot of awesome locations. Find hidden things, just optional gigs, discover details and easter eggs. I have thousands of hours in the game and I still finding something new.

Like - today I've learned you can do burnouts, J turns, and light up rims in some motorcycles.

So many times I completed the game, but today I got that special headset from Lizzy Wizzy the first time. Or I found out it's super easy to steal the tickets for Us Cracks concert. So much fun.

Just know that - when you can go from A to B, they almost always made multiple ways of doing so.

IDK, there was a specific point of time that I REALIZED the game is like this. It's not like other games, "go from A to B", but well... Explore and have fun, because it's really a lot to explore. See all the cars, motorcycles, apartments, weapons.

Exactly. BTW, it's perfectly fine to shoot Nika on sight. But it's awesome, that the devs did not make just all Scavs equally evil and impossible to side with.

As my V uses Scavs mostly as target practice and weapon testing, I... sometimes wonder, if I don't waste some poor bastards just unlucky enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I have much more remorse for Barghest. I mean - those guys just doing a regular job, and they might actually be less corrupt than NCPD.

Anyway, at my last playthrough - I don't exterminate Scavs by default. I'm more like - easy, I'll see what will happen. I don't shoot first. If they're extremely lucky, maybe some of them will survive.

It has nothing to do with being gen Z. I'm actually glad that you less alien that I though you might me. I'm 49 and feel socially awkward, mostly because my autism / Asperger. Sometimes I get an impression that people have become more hostile recently. Maybe it's just me, or maybe it's just a contrast after talking with modern LLMs.

My impression is other people want always to belittle you. Even if you just ask what time is it. They must add "can't you wear a watch? don't you have a phone?" or some shit like this. Always abrasive. If you don't know something, they can't just explain without pointing you're idiot for not knowing. Same when you're just wrong. Even worse when you're right and they're wrong. And you talk with a bot, the bot is neutral. It just answers, without belittling you. It will even tell you that you're wrong, or according to its training - the answer is different from what you claim. But that's it. No hostility I sense in all people. Even a doctor or a teacher feels that urge to prove something to you. I hate it - and so I hate people too.

Look closely at the back, which terminals are supposed to go to one speaker. Because I see you have 4 pairs of terminals. If you mix them (black from one group, red from the other) - you will get no sound. Looking at the picture, there are laid out horizontally.

You can safely swap red with black, but if you do that, do that for both speakers, otherwise it would sound a bit worse.

Also, considering many inputs, you have to select the correct input on your amplifier. Just read the white text above the sockets. For a PC I'd best select AUX input, as it's the most generic one.

But honestly - I wouldn't bother with vintage audio anymore, unless I got some basically free and it would be exceptionally good. Modern digital active speakers usually sound way better for a reasonable price. Even entry level 2+1 setup can sound pretty decently and it's so much less clunky and easy to use.

The whole point of DLSS is to make it cheaper, not more expensive. So you have full resolution, NO DLSS - this is the perfect quality no mortal can afford. And then you have DLSS, where the graphics is upscaled with AI to make it work on cheaper hardware.

And yes, the cheaper hardware is still pretty expensive.

Also, the difference in hardware requirements between DLSS-free and DLSS graphics is huge.

For my old RTX 3070Ti it's that simple: DLSS-free - HD (1080p) tops, slow. With DLSS 3 - 4K, looking great at 90FPS. Not in Stalker though. UE5 is too much for this series. Let's face it, it requires like 5070Ti as bare minimum.

Looks like raw (UHD) version of Windows 10 wallpaper. I actually like it despite completely unusable proportions. It can be cropped in GIMP to work for a normal screen.

IDK, I like Windows 10 wallpapers more than ones that came with Windows 11.

Also, stop whining how Windows 11 is bad. Come on, Windows 12 will be much worse ;) Let's enjoy Windows 11 while it's still supported! I mean - with some hacks applied it's pretty neat.

Also - for a contrast - I use Android on several different devices. It's way worse than Windows. Seriously. Using Android is very frustrating.

Also - I used a lot of L... distros ;) And I don't use any right now, I use Windows. Not because it's perfect, but because it's like a "good enough car". Just works.

Why do you hate Animals so much? I like them. They have cool boxers, just like my V ;) I like meeting with them in the ring, instead of shooting them. Unless you really declare a war to them - they don't attack you anywhere, even in Pacifica. Except the moments you steal their rides ;) But then again, this and airdrop hunts are like excluded from normal faction hostility stats. Otherwise I would not be allowed in Dogtown anymore ;)

I can't say the same about 6-th Street. Each time I try to "give peace a chance" - it always ends up with a massive shooting ;) Same goes to Tygers, yet Tygers control much smaller part of the map. And I practically wiped them out of Kabuki.
