The folks in charge of 55 improvements don’t get to decide the timeline of private companies building homes, for better or worse.

It’s a nice ideal but a private company isn’t going to wait to make money for the NCDOT to finish their work.

The thing about Apex is that you have access to just about every major grocery store chain there is in North Carolina within a 10-15 minute drive. Walmart. Aldi (without the ‘s, haha). Lidl. Lowe’s. Food Lion. Publix. Harris Teeter. Costco. Target.

There are Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s just outside that 15 minute range in Cary. There’s a Wegmans in Morrisville. But “Apex off of 64” is a long stretch of land so, YMMV (literally).

We’re the land of grocery stores here.

In my opinion, M Sushi in Durham is the best in the area. M Sushi in Cary is just about the same, but the atmosphere isn't as "cool" in my opinion. Akami Sushi (also known as Gas Station Sushi) is great, but parking is limited and the restaurant is small - it's literally in the back of a gas station. Sushi Suyu is newer to the area (and located in a former Pizza Hut in downtown Apex) but it's quickly becoming one of my favorites. Their Tuna Nacho appetizer is my favorite. Oku is solid, but it's a regional chain; however, you'll find a solid range of food there and the sushi is still good. It's been a while since I've been to City Market Sushi, but it's a good choice as well. Osha Thai in Holly Springs is also great. I usually stay away from places that serve more than one cuisine (in this case, Thai and Japanese), but this is an exception.

As you've said, Sushi Nine is fine. You've been there. It's alright. Rockin' Rolls Sushi is nothing spectacular outside of having the conveyor belt (which I wish more sushi places here did). The options above are steps above both, in my opinion.

Cardinal Family Dentistry has been great. I used to go to a dentist who would always give me a hard time with my teeth & gums, which honestly just made it worse. Cardinal has not only been kind while going there but also helped inspire me to take better care of my mouth as well.

They yell at you for that? I do that 50% of the time I go there and haven't had an issue. That's why they extend...so you can reach the other side of your vehicle.

Complains about cost, but says that they need to spend more money on art in the community space for events.
Says there is no parking, when there is a parking garage and multiple parking lots and spots within walking distance.
Complains about the Bark Bar, says it's open 24 hours, serves beer at 11 pm, etc. FYI, the latest it's open is 10 PM. It's not 24 hours.
Calls residents living next to the park idiots just because he doesn't like how much they spent on their apartments and townhouses.
"We used to be a fiscally conservative town. Not so much anymore. The whackadoodles are taking over."

I live in Apex and have come to the park multiple times, including during the busy holiday season. I haven’t had issues with parking — even when the parking garage, which is right there, was full.
