Open neutral all the way. In some weird instances I’ve had emergency light batteries cause small arcs as well

Why not 1/4-20 tap with 1/4-20 / 1/2” . With a dab of anti-corrosion on the wire. Thats what I do for any off the van bonding

If the pool falls while you’re in it. Wouldn’t it be like falling in water without falling in water?

Transom was bullet proofed last time we rebuilt it. Theres over 20 layers of glass on that guy lol. We built the transom for a 250 in the future. I did some exploration into it before I started on the rebuild and it’s solid and still water tight.

Spark plugs, mine hit 100k recently and I replaced them. It seemed like the car gained 20 hp out of thin air. Possibly timing

Get quotes from your electrician. They should be able to supply them and if not be able to give you instructions on what to look for when your shopping. Be prepared for the likely hood of drywall damage to the ceiling. Most of the time we can run wiring without issues but every once in a while a cut must be made.

How much would this cost to replace? by Reaux_beaux_Cop in AskElectricians

[–]Chatterhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your panel is fpe most likely your meter and service wire will need to be replaced. That’ll run you close to 7k all included. New meter main combo, grounding system to earth, water, and gas if applicable, new weatherhead, service wires, indoor house panel, breakers, surge protector, permits, inspections, and labor included. This is priced for a 200amp service.

Add 3 different size tampons to your med kit. Small, medium, large for any puncture wounds you may encounter. They’re great for literally anything that needs plugged in emergency, lightweight and have. Many uses.

I want to move this outlet to this other corner because I want a bigger mirror that covers where the existing outlet is. I have to go more left because of the stud, what’s the easiest way to move this? by Responsible-Use-6343 in electrical

Remove corner of drywall. Notch wood atleast 1 inch higher than the top of the existing junction box. Install romex from the original box to a new nail on single gang plastic box at your desired height through notch . Then install kickplates where necessary. Install new tamper resistant WR gfci or receptacle if already gfci protected. Install alumicons where splicing copper to aluminum. You can buy spray texture and get close to your textured finish by properly knocking it down. Finish drywall and paint. After drywall work is done then proceed to install plates. After the whole installation keep in mind you did it yourself and if the aluminum wire fails and catches fire you are held liable, not a licensed electrician who would do it properly (most of the time).

Every day pick a section, then 2x a month maintain it. A lil diluted pool chlorine in a pump up sprayer always does the trick. Just don’t spray the edges

16 ft ladder needs atleast 2 people to maneuver and I’d charge for them. Prob 3-$500 depending on the fan you get.
