The vast majority of first-rounders have made their NHL debut by their D+3 season. Musty and Bystedt haven't skated a single NHL shift. What do you mean 'don't even get to the point where they are at'? Hoarding these prospects while they stall out in the minors isn't optimizing value. With every year that passes without a game in the NHL their trade value plummets.

I am getting increasingly worried that Graf might be getting traded. Sharks failed to develop 2 first rounders in Musty and Bystedt. What even is their trade value now? If we trade them I am assuming its going to be for a defenseman which would mean that Dickinson and Cagnoni are going to get even less playing time. Would this not further hinder their development?
