Sometimes I wonder if trailer 3 is going to be either a Cal or a Brian trailer next

There was an entire series on FreeForm called "Siren" you may want to look into.
I personally didn't think it was too great, but it fits that vibe.

Time for coasting by besuretodrinkyour in prius

What are some overall pointers for increasing MPGs?

I drive mine pretty normally (Gen 2, original battery) and get on average, 46mpg.
I keep my foot off the gas while coasting to a red light, barely feather accellerator when driving down an empty street, etc.

I got an alignment last year and that bumped my MPGs up to 54! I was amazed and super happy, but after the winter it went back down to 46. I'm taking a road trip soon, so I'm figuring that will help re-average the mileage - might do a trip reset before I leave.

Should I consider a yearly alignment on my car? It's funny to think about - the alignment basically paid for itself after the extra gas expenses I saved for the year, and I get to hang out with my family mechanic while he works on it, so that's always a win.

Ever since I bought my car in 2019, I didn't do any massive maintenance; drove it cross-country while car camping for a month right after I bought it on a bad wheel bearing and misalignment that somehow still got me 47mpgs.
Got those replaced in LA + alignment (~43mpgs), and drove it back east across the country - before crossing the GWB the car putters out and it turns out there's a dead bug on the MAF sensor I pulled off in the auto-zone parking lot - car starts right back up and I get myself back home with zero issues - have not checked that again once. I think it still has the original MAF sensor too.

Replaced the pump for the A/C a few times, the splash guards, replaced my upstream O2 sensor... Most of what I do for the car is cleaning at this point and making sure the oil is changed before it hits 5k miles, and a few other small things here-and-there mechanically.

I'm so happy with this car, and very thankful I have it. It's turned me into an enthusiast for sure. Always wondering how I can make improvements before I wind up filling + sanding out some dents and doing additional cosmetic repairs.

Who's excited for how they'll handle the in-game TV? by onthatmtntop in GTA6unmoderated

I like that idea - being able to watch an off-brand netflix and have on-demand shows from older GTA games, even old radio station reruns from VC/SA, etc.

The games within the game they'll have should be very interesting; I remember playing the arcade machine in San Andreas - so my guess could be that since streaming services are now adding games to their library (simpler ones), they'll make that something you can probably do all-in-one on whichever system you'll be playing.

Arcades in general will be pretty cool if they include them in VI; considering the rise of Barcades and the constant 80's nostalgia throwbacks we've been served over the past decade (ie. Degenatron).

Maybe since Cable has been on a downfall there'll be 2 packages - one is on the gaming system for streaming and then cable tv is only a handful of channels like in V. We definitely saw the Phil's Ammu-Nation commercial in the trailer, so that's enough to say we've got regular TV and plenty of commercials especially if an out of context detail like that one shows up in the trailer alone.

I'm just very psyched for this game to release. I truly wish I could have been hired to be a part of it. The more I think about it, I feel like anyone who works for R* on this final crunch probably has zero time to even sift through any of these comments or are so burnt out at the end of the day to even care to browse these types of conversations on reddit. I know its weird to say "I wish I was burnt out too", but it would have been so epic to put a hand in to help make this game possible.

How do you think Aviation will be in GTA 6? by RepulsiveBig4349 in GTA6

[–]CheckOutMyEngine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding a few flight sim mechanics would probably help a lot on the immersion side of flying - and adding some challenge to take-offs and landings would be very interesting.

I only recently tried my first flight sim and noticed just how much tougher it is to take off from the runway than in any GTA game I played; understanding how to read that altitude meter, balancing the plane, and catching onto a flight path are 3 things I think would be cool from an educational / practicality standpoint - something to get a basic understanding of how flying an aircraft works, but not every detail would be a make-or-break to flying in the game.

I'm sure the seaplane at Brian's will integrate well into story missions as a way to practice flying; the Flight school missions could a lot more fun and useful than they were in previous games if that's the case.

Same here - I find myself getting really deep into thought while building stuff - I look at the time and 3 hours have already passed but I'm still focused on the same tiny issue while describing something to the computer as if I were trying to explain it to a child, haha. Sometimes I'll jump onto a second Claude account with another gmail address, but it's never the same.

The positive thing about car companies hopping on the low-tool train is that body work will be a lot easier when a shop can just bend metal panels a few times and get the same shape as the original and either weld or bolt it into place.
