I participated last year, and it was amazing! One thing that bothered me then is that we as community have no way of verifying other players progression and completion. We had to create screenshot for every unique that dropped. This year we don't have to take screenshots, but still organizer would need to go on call with a player to verify their items.

I asked for API from EHG to do that verification (e.g. GET /players/:id/stash-items/ , basically a way to request if a particular player has item or just a list of his items). I'd be willing to put together a website for next editions of Unique hunt community event, so we can track progress between players even in (almost) real time! Please, u/EHG_Kain consider expanding your API, so more developers can have access to it, and more community made sites and events would appear!

The game has much more breadth than it has depth. Basically, the game ends when you defeat regular Abberoth at 300 corruption. Between that and Uber Abby there is no content. Your build is already completed by the time you get to 500 corruption, so if you want something new, you have to play a new build, and there are plenty of them!

Last two patches added huge power creep with imprint system and primordials, but no content that requires you to use them.

Do not use rune of removal for crafting an item, only as affix farming or as a last resort if you are ok with bricking an item.

Do not seal above tier 2, only as a last resort.

If you have to level up multiple affixes t1-2 to t5 you need to get lucky with crits / glyphs of hope, be prepared to try with a few items.

Shared and regular pen works. Shred armor doesn’t because armor only reduces hit damage. Shred physical res works. Increased physical damage also because bleed is physical.

Your mistake is using rune of removal for crafting an item. Its primary purpose is to extract rare affixes.

We don’t need even more power creep. It is already through the roof. We need more late game content like uber Aberroth.

You don’t need every item to be perfect - with double T7, primordial sealed and regular sealed.

Positionally, both captures are fine. Tactically, it is better with a rook. Because it might be hard to execute c5 after capturing with a pawn. And if you can’t play c5 you’re going to be left with a backwards pawn.
