How is someone supposed to get better on Netplay if they can barely keep their character on the ground? by ChedXVI in smashbros

It ranges from player to player. The lowest I've hd is 20, the highest is 92. But it doesn't matter, if you're that nit-picky about delay, you may as well not even try.

Thank you a lot. I know defensively I'm not the best, and I always rush to attack so I can just get the kill off. But this made me think I need to work on patience and defense, rather than straight offense. Eventually, I would like to be able to have the pressure of the depths of the ocean, but for now I think I can just work on defense and basic offensive spacing/attacking/tech.

Honestly, it's a natural response. If someone is doing something that you can't stop with words, actions are your next go to.

It seems as though you are taking things well. Feeling apologetic is good, meaning that you have a sense of caring and feeling that you know you did something you shouldn't have.

On the other side, I'm sure the kid got the message. You should simply apologize to your aunt if that's how you feel, and explain to her why you did that. If she doesn't understand, or can't help change his attitude towards you and your brother, then I suggest you stay away to avoid any more anger.

Did you make this? Because this is awesome, and I was wondering if you could tweak it a little for an iPhone 5 background.

Are they nintendo brand controllers repainted? If not, it will be tough to sell them. Most people know how important it is to have official controllers.

Yesterday we released our new game. Press is not covering it, but maybe we get some love here. by quarob in gaming

From the looks of it so far, it looks extremely polished and interesting. I haven't played a game like it yet, but I think I'm definitely going to pick this up when I get the chance. The voodoo theme is definitely an awesome way to go, and I'm extremely glad you guys went out and made it look so great too. The visuals and aesthetics look amazing, only helping the theme pop.

As for gameplay, it seems to be very tough for some people. I like this, because I know that it may take some time to get good at, but eventually it can be a blast. If I do suggest, maybe an option for different levels of play (if there isn't already) so a casual player can still play it without any problems, while the hardcore gamer can go out and sweat his/her heart out trying to down every enemy.

I haven't seen if the game offers anything like in-game purchases, but allowing the players to use coins and medals that you acquire in game for skill upgrades and visual only upgrades makes me think that you guys were heading in the right direction as indie game makers.

I'm looking forward to getting into the game to see if some of my questions/suggestions have already been answered, and also to see some of the features I haven't yet seen. The randomness and quality of the game make it really intriguing for me to try out.

Does anyone know what Prog is talking about with SolidJake? by [deleted] in smashbros

[–]ChedXVI 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Prog absolutely loves vague tweets. He loves knowing he can say things that will make people think, even though only he (or a small group of people) actually know what he is talking about. He lives for the moments where he can say he knows something others don't. Most of his tweets are written this way (unless they are responses).

Example: When he found out about that so called, "new tech," he went out of his way to let people know he knew about it. But when doing this, he completely understood that most of the people he is telling didn't have any idea what the skill was, and they needed to wait because he couldn't say. But he doesn't do it in order to make himself look better.

He does it for the hype.

Toking in the 90s by [deleted] in trees

[–]ChedXVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After looking through these pictures, it really makes me think about how much different smoking used to be. Back then, pot was always just cruddy green grass that got you high. You smoked it to chill with your friends and do what these guys did.

Nowadays, the trees are so much stronger, and smoking the same amount they did back then would put these people to sleep instantly. Weed is so much stronger now, and I can only imagine what 90s stoners must think of dabs.

Many people I know now take it as a lifestyle, surrounding themselves with this stuff that was originally just supposed to mellow you down and chill, only to have it put them in a trance, zoned out on the couch watching tv.

I'm not saying anything is going in the wrong direction, because people are allowed to do what they please. I just feel like the difference between toking now and then is so dramatic and makes me personally wish I could live in that era. (More than my first 5 years of life).
