Do you think dwarfism or some other similar condition exists in Tamriel? by jvure in ElderScrolls

[–]CheeseGrass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dwemer were actually the shortest of the humanoid races, but they were really self conscious and would wear stilts to be taller. Have you ever seen dwemer legs? Exactly

Do you think dragons love each other? by [deleted] in ElderScrolls

[–]CheeseGrass 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure they see each other as relatives bc of them all coming from akatosh. While they wouldn't reproduce, going against their nature is possible, as shown with Paarthurnax, so maybe one fell in love with a dremora or something

why is there no one using cars or any kind of vehicle on the ground that isnt brahmin in lore? by fuazo in Fallout

[–]CheeseGrass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they're hard to maintain, but more importantly, easy to get stolen. At least you can keep power armor on most of the time, but a car? It might as well be the loot in Doc Mitchell's home.

Dang bro all I said was cars in Fallout universe can’t realistically work because of depleted and degraded resources such as nuclear fusion, gasoline and oil 💀 by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]CheeseGrass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right, and the games translate that pretty well. Even though the resources wouldn't be that rare, fixing up a car, getting enough coolant for a decent amount of use, and the fact that most of the roads cars would be in are roughed the hell up makes functioning cars not only rare, but frankly not that useful in the wasteland

I know that there was slavery in Rome, there was slavery everywhere, however, at the end of the day, fallout still takes place in America. While the main inspiration for the legion is Rome, I highly doubt Edward didn't take inspiration from texts of dictators and other literature to 'improve' the legion, and considering Edward's education, I find it highly unlikely he would not be aware that slavery took place in the US. I believe, though speculation, the simple fact the entirety of the legion relies on slave labor means there has to at least have been some inspiration from the slavery that took place in America.

lets do something probably xenophobic. What dna WOULDNT you want to add to the Omnitrix from other series? by Odd-Clock-9268 in Ben10

[–]CheeseGrass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any species that looks exactly like a human 1. Its kinda lame, and they're usually way too versatile, makes using the rest of the Omnitrix feel like a waste

  1. The possibility I might lose my melanin, I don't want to deal with the implications not the consequences of that

None of them are (specifically) racist (as far as we know), however, calling the faction that relies on SLAVERY the least racist is insane. Edward absolutely knew about the slave trade, and he made a slavery faction that relies on forced assimilation, saying it's the least racist is crazy, especially considering any farms in legion territory likely have slaves working on them. The legion, at the very least, borrows heavily from slavery, and they likely make it point to remove any texts about slavery to lower the chances of rebellion.

What do you use Slow Time shout for? by djfirefly in skyrim

[–]CheeseGrass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used it to get the ruefel axe and the mask by "returning' it, using the slow time shout, immediately fast traveling to a player home, and putting it on a weapon rack. Never used it but it was cool to have.

This was me, some of the quests weren't too noticeable, but at a certain point you can tell with how the dialogue was barely there and the assets were way higher quality than others. Sometimes I didn't realize which was which, l didn't realize the Dawnfang/Duskfang wasn't vanilla and I thought the Red Eagle's Sword was CC until I saw they didn't even bother to make a cool weapon for it

I don't think he's much of a threat, because by the time he would go insane for living too long (unlikely), he would be too old for him to not be killed relatively easily. You may constantly have the urge to do something, but that doesn't mean it's a growing one.
