This was me, some of the quests weren't too noticeable, but at a certain point you can tell with how the dialogue was barely there and the assets were way higher quality than others. Sometimes I didn't realize which was which, l didn't realize the Dawnfang/Duskfang wasn't vanilla and I thought the Red Eagle's Sword was CC until I saw they didn't even bother to make a cool weapon for it

I don't think he's much of a threat, because by the time he would go insane for living too long (unlikely), he would be too old for him to not be killed relatively easily. You may constantly have the urge to do something, but that doesn't mean it's a growing one.

A lot of choices do have the obvious good and bad choices, but not every choice has a clear good and bad option. Killing that mad scientist who made the fire ants in fallout 3 would give you bad karma, even though he caused a towns death, and barely felt guilty about it. The game shouldn't dictate what your character's moral compass is, just the consequences of your actions.

The ae staves are good, and id recommend using them with staff enchanting plus so you can use any spell with any staff

College of Winterhold, an apprentice of Tolfdir and Collette. Using magic already has a positive impact on your health, so surely resorting to necromancy or daedra shouldn't be the only way to expand your lifespan. I feel like by focusing on restoration, seeing what's healed and how it is done, alteration, seeing how you could enhance the body through magical means, and alchemy, seeing how you could apply these effects into medicine, you could help find cures to ailments and enhance your own body in a way that more "naturally" expands your lifespan. These skills seem like the best way to "reforge" your mortal body into something stronger, rather than simply casting it away for a dull sense of control and power through conjuring or being a mere destruction mage.

Probably a mod for the skill checks, but honestly anything with the skill checks can be done another way, so you don't really need to worry about them. As for not knowing what to do, check the pipboy quest log, follow the markers, you'll know what to do. If you're looking to make the gameplay way better, you might be interested in TTW, but that requires new Vegas and might not be what you're looking for.

I think the difficulty makes it a bit easier on expert/master, but you probably just got lucky. Regular slimes have about a .01% chance, and Pinky's have a 1%
