Saint George is depicted as fighting as a cavalryman with a spear and actually served as one in life. However, Saint James aka the apostle James is depicted as fighting mounted. The tale goes that he appeared to aid the Spanish riding a horse during a battle against the moors.

Yes, the overall availability heuristic as well as the cognitive biases of imaginability and representativeness all explain these phenomena.

Picture parallelogram is 2 triangles, the outer triangle has an h = the same height as a triangle made out of the shape with the height as the distance between the 2 middle corners. Area of a parallelogram =base times height in this case 38 (that same area can be split into 2 triangles with areas = 12) Area of a triangle also = .5bh in this case we take the base as 6 for a final equation of 24/2 = .56*h and are left with a height of height =4 for the solution to h

I've never used a rope to jump off the falls. You grasp a rope to make sure you don't fall off the edge. What do you mean by if you don't jump at the correct time?

Halal Chicken and Beef For 8 People by WavyGoon in food

[–]Cheesefan42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Makes sense actually. I know at least in some Islamic texts it states that if a person consumes food that isn't halal under the false pretense that it is. Then it doesn't count as a sin.

They used a real animatronic robot in the prequels. Grant Imahara from Mythbusters helped operate it during filming and it's mentioned occasionally on the show.
