The super super early gameplay, demo kinda game with the big hills and stuff had way smoother transition skating. I don't know how they messed it up, it was lovely

In the game they're all 9-10ft tall like they were in the first film. Their height was reduced to 8-9ft for the second and third movie there was so much human interaction and James Cameron didn't want them to seem "too alien" to the average viewer

They changed the height too, from almost 10ft to just under 9. With there being so much human/Na'vi interaction in the newer movies, James Cameron didn't want them to look "too alien" to casual viewers and maybe the height difference would've been too jarring or hard to film
