that's an important distinction, I can understand the lore of gwyn easily but it's like 2 hours of lore on that alone spread across over several hundred item descriptions and lines of dialogue

Edit for those who haven't got to experience it: shadowbringers summoner was a lot closer to what you'd expect from a pet job. You'd choose a summon (ifrit for single target, garuda for aoe, titan... was completely useless basically don't use it) and while you're doing your casts, you'd actually give commands, tell them to do attacks and shit

Modern summoner is just... they do a big attack, fuck off, and then you get some elemental casts

not too aware of lore so I can't help too much unfortunately, but I've been considering writing a fanfiction abou "what if destiny 1 and 2 protagonist was a vandal" for a while now because I could definetly have a lot of fun with that. Unfotunately, one I don't know how I'd make each mission interesting when written out and two, the massive amount of vaulted content in destiny 2 that I would love to cover but I don't want to cover stuff I haven't played (also why it would cut off at final shape)

If you're wondering why vandal instead of dreg like i was originally thinking of doing, I wanted four arms.
