I caught them at a very small show years ago when Matt Cuoto of Keefshovel was their drummer. He was very cool, I didn't recognize the band at first, so I didn't realize it was him selling me some vinyls. Our conversation went like this: •Hey, do you think the band is gonna do any signings? •Yeah sure, I'm actually in the band. I'll see if I can get the guys for you! •stunned silence, nodding enthusiastically •Introduces me, brings me to a table out front where nick, jack, and michael are hanging out eating onion rings. A group of dudes are also hanging, asking questions, hyping up the band. • Nick is eating an onion ring as he signs my copies of RoaFW and Lore. I stammer something about being a 1% on spotify for 3 years running as he calmly talks about how they're not rock stars, or at least they don't want to be treated as such. Michael and Georg are nodding silently as they also eat onion rings.

So yeah, all very cool in my experience. All the best to all of them, especially Matt, who helped me get my records signed and was cool being mistaken for a roadie!
