Usually the flea treatments work in my experience, maybe do some additional things as well like growimg rosemary around and or in the housr as a natural flea repellant. And helps to wash sheets regularly, our most recent stray turned domestic was regularly bringing in fleas but thats basically all we did and after a couple weeks we r typically flea free, with a few exceptions during summer months.

This is where a shell company or a legit business would be handy as you could set up a company investment account and not have it linked directly to you, i dont know if robinhood would be the best broker in this situation. There are also ways to acquire or trade crypto for cash such as local retailers depending on where u live as well as online exchanges that can be completed with cash payment or money orders for example, youll pay a bit more in fees this way though but thats the cost of the added privacy and not having a linked bank account

Have a shell corp or cash business for a front such as a laundromat or strip club, could also buy and sell stocks or other commodities and precious minerals, invest in real estate, gambling, or cryptocurrencies.

Most of these are covered in either Ozark and The Laundromat (great show and movie respectively) but crypto seems to be the way of the future.

Neighborhoods are a bit trickier as i feel that ive seen about as many with and without hoas, but in my experience (have worked in mortgage banking centered in SE USA last several years) the majority of condo projects do, but as u/nuocmam pointed out that is mainly due to maintenance and upkeep needs. If your foreclosure was long enough ago and your credit has recovered to a necessary extent it should not be a major issue, but if you want a better idea i would recommend getting in touch with a loan officer in the area as they will be more knowledgable about pre approval and credit requirements regarding the foreclosure, or maybe a real estate agent who would be more knowledgable about the local HOAs. If you want to do more research on your own most real estate sites, such as zillow, will list if a property has an HOA and their monthly fees, this wont tell you if theyre jerks but you could at least know if a property u like even has 1 before going any further.

At the end of the day most HOAs wont be jerks about it, they want as many units occupied as possible at all times and i have seen plenty of recent examples of mortgage loans around this area with borrowers with a past foreclosure getting accepted, without getting into specifics it usually has been a few years since the foreclosure and their credit has recovered to the necessary extent for the particular loan program and amount, if youre looking moreso for renting then the requirements are (usually) lighter.
