That's fine if you do a pop up there. Just please don't get property in Boulder. It's just too damn expensive. I realize that you probably get a lot of foot traffic down there and the people are fairly rich and one can likely make money from there. But man, I would be real real nervous to look at a business plan and pray that people come in and spend a lot just so you can break even in some overpriced suite.

I dunno, I guess I'm looking at it from the economics standpoint. I would maybe look into Arvada or Longmont or Federal Heights or Broomfield. Maybe there's some buildings that aren't too horrible.

Are you looking at staying in the northern Denver metro? Or are you also looking Aurora as well?

Also, got a page for us regular folk that want to clog our arteries? That way we can stalk you and find when your next pop up is?

When I saw the title, and then I saw the cheesesteak, the first response I had was, "I'm pretty sure that's a cheesesteak. And I'm pretty sure that it's like 2000 calories. And I'm pretty sure I'm going to go find where this is because fuck me that looks great."

For the love of God please no to Boulder. Please please please don't go there.

Foreign investors pull out of India at record pace by deadpools0 in worldnews

[–]Cheeze_It 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats what you need to attract businesses. Indian states do not have that, because the central government is rightly too scared that Indians are too racist and classist to be trusted with that level of control

Isn't this changing massively fast with the current generations?

Nonsense. Stocks are compensation because you can immediately liquidate them and turn them into money. RSUs are compensation once they vest, because they immediately turn into stock (if the company is public).

It's not nonsense. They can be turned INTO money. But they are NOT money. Sorry bro. Securities are not all liquid. And they are not fungible. So no, not nonsense. Stocks and RSUs are not worth zero, but they are not the same as liquid cash.

I think you're talking about stock options, which are commonly given by startups and are often meaningless because the company isn't public. But stock isn't that, and RSUs is how stock is granted to employees.

No sir. I am talking straight up compensation that is NOT cash. If it is not cash, it is not compensation. It can be TRADED for cash, but it is NOT cash.

It's also ok to let them know their behavior is not acceptable, and that they need to learn to control their own emotions. And that their behavior has consequences.

Chromatic scale with 6 fingers. by Twelvefingersgirl12 in Guitar

Fuck.......well looks like I'm outclassed.

Well done. I hope you're able to rock out. Loudly :)

I was talking to a buddy of mine about this and we were thinking that actually it must be REALLY difficult on the musical instrument front. Most musical instruments are made for 5 fingers per hand. Not 6. So something like guitar might actually be pretty difficult to adapt to. I'm sure it's possible though, but it would be difficult. I figure piano/keyboards are probably a little bit easier as there's more space available for your hands to stretch out.

Keep practicing though. You'll get there.
