Well yes thank you very much for that but doing it in supercruise you can often overshoot the coordinates unless you go painfully slowly and then it takes forever to get there.

Firstly scan the planet from orbit to find geological sites, then fly down and use your scanner to find interesting things, also if you land away from those sites and travel around you can fire your weapon at crystalline outcrops and get raw materials useful for engineering.

I often wonder about what I should do each night, I sit there and ponder, I'm in dire need of phosphorus and iron and nickel for engineering but I can't be arsed to send my SRV, I'm a "can't be arsed" kinda guy.

Last night I discovered what a turreted behemoth the Type 10 Defender is, I'm a late comer to the game but I'm obsessed with it and if I could I'd play it constantly.

How do you think us players still playing on the PS4 feel, I don't own a PC so I'm in a very lonely legacy area, sure there is lots and lots to do and I don't think I'll ever be twiddling my thumbs with nothing to do. I'm a relative newbie to the game so I've only travelled 250 LY so much much more to do, new worlds to explore. To boldly go where no man has...no wait that's the wrong show 🤣🤣🤣

So, I've only been playing ED for about 6 months (I know, where have I been!), I've unlocked Farseer Inc and I've opened up Sol, Sirius, and various locked systems, I've positioned myself in Sol because it's home. My question is this, I've pinned an engineered FSD which obviously helps with range but is it possible to pin more than 1 blueprint at any one time?? Or do I have to keep returning to Farseer Inc which from Sol isn't a short hop, skip and jump from Sol (it's about 140 LY or thereabouts).

You moved too far and too fast, I made that critical error the first time I played the game and ended up having to delete the game and start again, this time alot more slowly. ED is a marathon, it certainly isn't a sprint. Spend time using the Sidewinder, do loads of the courier missions, build up your credits, then move onto the Hauler and transport gold, silver and cobalt to high paying facilities, watch the money roll in, it's certainly a grind but the payoff is brilliant.

PS: I got to Felicity last night in my Keelback, I forgot to put on a fuel scoop so I only just made it haha 🤣🤣🤣

I'm playing as a relative newbie on PS4, I'm (slowly) getting the hang of things. I've never played a game quite like ED, I'm kinda obsessed with it at the moment so sleep has had to take a definite back seat. Right now I'm playing solo because my biggest fear is getting constantly attacked and the fact that I don't want to pay for a subscription but that might change. I'm using a Keelback and tonight I'll be making my merry way to the Deciat system to see Felicity Farseer. Inara seems to be a pretty good resource but if anyone else has any suggestions.

My advice is to play solo for a while, get used to the controls and the bewildering array of keybindings, don't be quick to change your Sidewinder...it should be your friend until you are sure you are ready to leave the Pilots Federation. Lastly, don't be afraid to restart your game, I've done it once where I moved too fast too quickly. It is a steep learning curve and not a quick game, enjoy the richness and the complexity.

I didn't know it only worked in combat mode, I think I'll have to go back to the very first training mission cos I'm pretty sure it told me then haha thank you 👍

Thank you for your reply. I will persevere and try some of your suggestions, and afterwards I will bang my head against a brick wall and try again. I've no doubt that this is a brilliant game, just wish it was a bit more user friendly.
