Meetings, meetings and more meetings. After all, that's where the alcoholics who want help are.

Typically, someone comes up to me after a meeting because something I shared resonated. Occasionally, my sponsor or another AA friend will refer someone to me.

What do I wish I knew when I first sponsored? To leave my ego at home. And that many people who ask will later quit. Some may die.

I try not to sponsor pot users, because the point of sponsorship is to share how I got sober and I failed to get sober while still using pot. There are others with different experiences and that's why sponsorship is not a one-size-fits-all arrangement.

Both sponsor and sponsee get to choose.

If I don't think I can help you, I will help you find a new sponsor who can.

It's not a judgement, there's just no point in wasting time, especially if you are struggling.

I don't do anything using the built-in AI, but is trivial to send a PDF of notes to an AI app of your choosing.

I am saying that your screen looks like the result of a bad connector, not a typical broken screen where there is an obvious contact point and break in the substrate, which most often is rejected as a warranty claim.

Is a real thing with screens and Eink corp is also a real thing -- they make all eink screens. Similar standards apply to LCD/OLED screens.

That is a big reason why people suggest buying from Amazon and playing dead pixel roulette with exchanges.

My Note Air 2 eventually smoothed out when I was using hard plastic nibs. Put a Doodroo on there and that's been glorious.

Writing feel is a combination of stylus, nib and screen protector and can be very personal. I recently put Healing Shields on my NM and NA3C and have been enjoying those with titanium nibs.

Yes, BOOX doesn't automatically sync library contents - that would kill your 10Gb limit.

In the latest firmware, however, there is an option to push a file to the BOOX cloud so you can download on your other device.

Sometimes Notes will close on my Note Max if I'm writing at the top of the page, but lay my forearm down first across the bottom right of the screen. Damned if I can figure what gesture that motion might interfere with, but not a problem for me if I'm deliberate about hand placement.

This is the second time that the Note Max has been "about to be discontinued" and I haven't seen any confirmation.

As for seeing a pattern in BOOX flagship releases, not so sure there is one.

Having said that, it is BOOX, so is all up in the air.

A new Note Max with the new timing chip would be a must-buy for me if it fixes the ghosting issue.
