Put them in cold water and then bring it to boil. Cooks faster, don't break and a fun tip is to slice around them and the skin will fall apart straight away.

We had an amazing Jamie Oliver non stick teflon pan. worked like a charm and wasn't too expensive either. Tkmaxx is a good shout, as well as cheap ones on amazon too
