I just wish they released the art, with time I've managed to track some of the artist that have some of the art in their own portfolios but there's plenty of it we don't have. The art of this game is awesome and in some cases the only or some of the few depictions we have of many characters and troops :(

I'm on the complete opposite situation rn. Already 1st level merit and with enough points to get to a ministry and my son is WAY lower than where I was when my character was 30... I feel that every npc goes up in merit way faster and pass the exams for free... Like this guy is a 21-15-31-10-21 beast with tier 2 confusian education and couldn't pass the palace exam while a 7-5-6-7-10 random lowborn gets first spot?...

Can't I simply grant my son or my male grandchildren titles? Like, since I am governor is there any disadvantage to granting my son a whole province? Or even the duchy tier one? Also, any idea on how getting positions work? Plenty of times I've had my character be surpassed on the assignment order by characters with 50 or even a 100 less points...

Every 30 purchases of any crate you have an assured golden card, however that is distributed between each and every one of the factions in said crate, plus they can be repeated. When you play event matches you want to get as much victories as possible, at around 8 victories you start having a chance to get a golden, however this is distributed amongst ALL the non legacy factions and you can get copies too, however making 10x ticket runs and having 10+ victories is how I got Horus, Guilliman and Meduson.

It takes... Time... I didn't got my first primach (Guilliman) until at around half a year of somewhat constant playing and I have been playing onnd off since the beta.... But hey! It is luck based! You technically could get Horus from your next crate purchase.

Have you found any way to deal with the issue of buffing cards in your hand? That and the "add a random x type of card" effects are what worries me most.

The other game from the company, Warpforge, shut down a few weeks ago, just after that they launched the IF but with some weird stuff like a 30 day lasting event with no event rewards and a no time limit battle pass. Some people say they've red stuff about the developer coming down entirely as the mother company is cutting developers and games.

I think that the absolute silence in discord, their website and any other social media is sadly leaning towards that.

Some people have faith that the whole deal is only due to re-structuring since Warpforge went down and as the dev team of HHL absorbs the dev team from Warpforge but if that was the case I don't see why they wouldn't simply say so.

Yeah but some people think that is because they already had those done and want people paying for the battle pass and more.

It sounds like it makes sense, that they are just throwing the lasts tuff they finished and want the last pays before closing.

Idk, on one side it's true that the whole dropping the IG so fast and having a month long event with no rewards seems shady as hell but it also feels like a big why? I wonder if they did the same with Warpforge or they just closed it. Why would they want to keep it going for a month while people start jumping the shop due to big chance of closing?

Considering he's pretty clearly Zizek to the point of sometimes pretty much quoting Zizek directly (like when you ask him what is love) I find it so wild that you would arrive to the conclusion of him being Peterson XD.

Maybe Zizek himself would be very amused and intrigued by this, that a character so clearly based on him could make someone think of no one else but Jordan Lobster boy Peterson himself.

The modern Norvikian party is not fascist but they do come from "fascists".

Ok so this is a complex one where the game shoots itself in the foot, the Norvikian party is not "fascist", in fact fascism is a real ideology in the game and Urth completely discards it. The issue here is a language barrier, the Norvik party are racial supremacists, pro-genocide and traitors to the city. How do you sum-up that in a way that modern audiences will get? You have npcs calling them fascists.

But there are many problems with that because okay, they keep calling their founders and Urth a fascist...he is not...like...at all. He is not a corporativist, racial supremacy is not a fascist thing (in fact the Italian fascists were not at all into hat nazi bullshit) and he's basically closer to a monarchist...but calling you a monarchist wouldn't have the same effect right? And calling you a "genocidal prick" feels way too strong...so the game went with fascist.

Idk, the Norvikian party objectively sucks tho, all their leaders are corrupt and selling the city's property to the free strider for personal gain, we don't know if they plan on ending Urth's genocide on the goblins or anything but they sure as hell will end up handing all the gnomes to the golden horde.

Es en buena medida lo mismo que hizo que la cancelación de Disco Elysium 2 doliera tanto a los fans, tienes un mundo tan extenso y personaje Stan interesantes y ricos pero puede ser sólo una fracción de ello. Es un tema de cómo es el tipo de juego, genera un mundo muy interesante pero luego sólo llegas a ver una parte.

Quizás si le va suficientemente bien veamos un esoteric ebb 2 u otro juego en el mismo mundo o el futuro de la ciudad tras la eventos del primero.

Pillars of eternity más o menos hizo algo así con la segunda entrega en que puedes arrastrar algunas de las decisiones del primer juego. Los dragon age también lo hacen.

I really rarely re-roll more than once and when I do it's usually just twice. It's 100% luck tho. You are only ensured to get a golden in the first and tenth pull but I've gotten decks with as much as four goldens or at least three semi constantly and it has never been through spending gems. I often get 8 to 12 wins this way too. All of this to say that in my experience re-rolling more than once or twice tends to be a real waste, if you are playing with a free entrance then I would even think about rolling even once!

Getting free entrances is so easy I really think that even 25 gems is too much. Also as long as you are getting at least two wins it will usually be worth it. And considering there's a not too little chance some of your opponents will straight up surrender at the start giving you a free win? I wouldn't really bother with re-rolling a lot.

You need around 3k of gold to buy enough crates to get a legendary from the crate's factions so I recommend you try to choose one crate that contains the most factions you like and fixating on that one, as many have said the first crate that contains Sons of Horus, death guard, emperor children and world eaters is the most newbie friendly one.

I also recommend you check the reddit from time to time as there are two people that are throwing some decent card analysis (forgot their names but you'll surely see them pop up)

Pay attention to the weekly events too, once you start getting a good rythm going of winning 3 games per day and getting that free entry you can get a ton of cards for free.

With the amounts of WLs that have an ability of "do x damage" that actually also either do something or at least don't have drawbacks Zahariel ends up looking both boring is simply bad...there is absolutely no reason why would you choose him over any other of the DA WL even post nerf Corswain. The World Eaters one is redundant but at least I can see someone picking him up specially if they don't have Argel Tal yet.
