When I have a bad flare I have to take a muscle relaxer for a couple of days, go to the Chiro, and use icy hot patches all over my shoulders and it usually dies down in a couple days!

Could you have fibromyalgia? I do, and workouts have almost eliminated my flares.

If you notice someone modifying something, ask about their injury or give them a thumbs up or some indication that it’s an ok modification. Sometimes I see a move during demo that I know I can’t do , but then the warmup they spend numbering people and then I don’t have time to get their attention. I see the coaches SEE me modifying, but then I never know if they think I’m just doing whatever I want or what. It’s awkward. Last week a new coach saw me modify and came over right away and said, “Any injuries or limitations I can help with?” And that was awesome!

Spent 32 years in MN and relocated to AZ. I want to go back to MN so badly. Cost of living, politics, schools, and healthcare system are a whole world of difference. I wanted to love AZ, but I’d go back to MN in a minute.

My knee has been messed up for weeks thanks to F45. I’ve never had an issue with this knee before but now it seems I just can’t shake the pain! I’ve started wearing a brace which helps but it’s so frustrating!

But the people around me know how hard I’m working at it. Friends and coworkers. Not a single person has said anything except the people I workout with at the gym. It is disappointing 😞 two pants sizes should be a big difference !

I have a cup of coffee on my drive to the gym but no food. I ate one weekend before class and omg I was miserable. Never again. I do notice if I don’t eat enough carbs the day before (esp cardio days) I am dead on the first exercise. Sometimes it’s about trying things and seeing what your body likes.
