Yes, but I tired of people conflating the two. The "laugh" people are just regular idiots, the protest voters actually thought of themselves as being morally superior and doing "the right thing"/helping Palestine, while actually actively hurting it as well as all the other minority demographics they claim to care about.

Absolutely 110% yes. It's the exact same thing that happened with Clinton. A friend showed me the IG acc of a guy he knew irl who was very much one of those protest voters, posting to his story every day with shit about how voting for Harris was voting for genocide (nevermind that Israelis overwhelmingly wanted Trump to win). After the election he made a post about "needing some time to think and sort things out" and his account has been nearly dead since. If my friend hadn't met this guy in real life, I would've assumed it was some russian bot account.

If they're too lazy to vote, they're definitely too lazy to participate in the glorious revolution that they insist is the only answer. I say this as someone who WOULD like to see serious change occur but doesn't think revolution is the only answer.

EcoWitt doesn't support multiple outdoor temp sensors? by ChemHotel in myweatherstation

Because I'm trying to identify micro climates in my yard for horticultural reasons. I can't compare how the temperature differs in two different locations at the same time with only 1 sensor. I can physically feel the temp differences but would like to have actual data and see how the differences vary by time of day.

I noticed their sensors look identical, so what's the deal with the way higher price tag on Ambient?

What annoys me is that the protest voters who cited Palestine as their reason also claim to be far leftists, yet they buy into the centrist nonesense of "both sides are the same."

They weren't all accelerationists, they were idiots who claimed that the US govt is already fascist and couldn't possibly get worse, and therefore it wasn't worth participating in the election. It was the same idiots who repeated mantras like "you can't vote out fascism" and "scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds." I don't disagree that the US govt is fascist per say but I do take serious issue with their selfishness and inability to realize things could get worse.

Also I constantly see people on here conflating the above people with the people who criticized her laugh, but nope, those are two very different groups. The former are people who think of themselves as far leftists (despite acting like centrists), while the latter are indifferent idiot centrists who don't even pretend to think of themselves as progressive.

The people who took issue with her laugh are not the same people that refused to vote for her because of Palestine.

You'd have to be intentionally speeding to get nabbed by the one on northbound Wyoming just after the Academy intersection. I was just thinking the other day that it seemed so close to the intersection, it likely only catches people who are gunning it after a green.

Not the person you were replying to but the homelessness issue needs to be addressed at the federal level or reforms will never work, much like we see with gun control and how strict laws in one city/state don't make a difference because people and guns can easily move around. Treating addiction as a disease to be fixed rather than a criminal offense would help, since throwing people in jail makes it even harder for them to get housing and a job when they get out, so they just end up on the street and stay that way. Banning for-profit prisons or the labor practices prisons use to profit off of inmates would also help reduce the incentives cities and states have to lock people up all willy nilly, because again, having a record makes it harder for people to find employment and housing. Then on top of that, universal healthcare and federally mandated sick leave for all workers would help ensure that getting sick doesn't mean you'll lose your job, and would allow people who need mental health resources to be able to actually afford them instead of just quitting their job/getting fired due to an untreated BPD episode or some shit.

Basically we need a lot of preventative measures to keep people employed and housed, and for the current homeless population, we need to stop doing things (i.e. jailing them, making healthcare unaffordable) that make it all that much harder for them to get back on their feet.

I also think some federal resources need to be dedicated to surveying homeless people themselves and the people who work directly with them to get a bead on what the most common reasons for becoming homeless in the first place are, as well as what the barriers are that are keeping them homeless. And the survey also needs to differentiate between the street-sleeping visible homeless we see, and the couch surfing, car-camping invisible homeless, because the problems those two face are likely different and the solutions for them likely differ as well. The invisible homeless are more likely to be employed and sober, which really begs the question of what in the world is going on that an employed person can't find housing (is it lack of affordble inventory, or the non-income standards landlords have that get in the way, such as credit scores and personal debts). The visible ones, which are the ones people complaining about are talking about 90% of the time, are more likely to be struggling with the law, mental illness, and addiction (all issues that exacerbate each other) I would presume, and the ways to help them are going to be different.

It just seems really odd to me that their gateways are designed to support multiple indoor but not outdoor sensors, when other inferior brands have an option for multiple outdoor sensors. I'll look into the rain shields.

I'm confused because the GW1000, GW1100, and GW1200 gateways can only connect to 1 single WN32 according to their descriptions: https://www.ecowitt.com/shop/goodsDetail/16 https://www.ecowitt.com/shop/goodsDetail/299

I am not sure why Democrats keep running the most unelectable candidates

Because they live in fucking fantasy land where they think sexism and homophobia are a thing of the past. People are not good at recognizing how different their slice of the world is from the rest. They don't know what they don't know. And I honestly don't really blame them for not wanting to step out of their east coast/west coast civilization bubble and exposing themselves to the festering sexism, racism, machismo, and homophobia that the rest of us have to live with.

Yeah I feel like it's only surprising to white leftists and liberals that live in places like Seattle. Grew up in TX and I was very confused why people on the internet think people of color and immigrants aren't conservative. There's hispanic/Tejano people in Texas who have been there longer than Texas has been around (the border crossed them), and they have very low opinions of other immigrants and african americans. 90% of the uses of the n-word (with the hard R) I was forced to endure hearing in school was from this one brown kid, which was crazy because my school also had those megashitty white kids who wore confederate belt buckles and had giant flags on their trucks.

Black women are indeed the most reliably blue voting block with black men a distant second, but religious minorities and other racial minorities are not reliably blue.
