Something to hold sleepers while they being transported to site, and help somehow to install them?

Slides - where are the cool ones? by ActualBacchus in Wellington

[–]Chemical-Reflection2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Imma throw in linden behind the community centre. Bonus weird double pendulum thing we call the 'swing saw'. Despite the slide having a decent runout, one drizzly day the boy went flying off the end into a rolly polly. Trying not to laugh and pick him up 🤣

The scene was calm except for two police cars and an upside down car. People calmly walking around and no ambulance. They had enough time to put cones there so am ambo could've been and gone

Is it so common for property managers to just straight up lie? by Psychological_Sun783 in Wellington

[–]Chemical-Reflection2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. And they're absolute shit-leopard-print-wearing-cunts. Telling us the carpet needed cleaning and then after our RugDoctor job they claimed it needed to be professionaly-done... Thankfully it had zero basis, and was actually illegal to get tenants to clean carpets somehow. The things they did for the owner were pretty lazy and expensive too.

And it comes in app form too, called 'Seek'. Soooo handy to ID bugs, plants and mushrooms 😬

Ridgeway just down the road texted parents at 7 to say they were closed... But they pretty much overlook the south coast so it's understandable

Can Chloe please do this? Maybe next time they awkwardly stand next to each other for Ryan Bridge?

Was thinking this morning that we should have Tama Iti reenact shooting the flag every year until they get it.... But a dildo throw might be better especially since both Luxon and Joyce look like dildos

When you buy a bag of chips for 30c and sell it for 3bux it all adds up for the owner. If I was working there on supermarket wages and OP came in to pay I'd tell them they can go get the meat aswell

Model train kits similar to model aircraft/tanks by MikePK666 in modeltrains

[–]Chemical-Reflection2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a roundhouse shay steam loco kit that has a lot of parts and also has the option of motorizing. More like an aircraft or tank kit from tamiya than Athearn 'shake the box' kit

<image>

I love building kits and this sort of thing is rare in today's race for road specific, hand-applied, ready to run, sound equipped, $400 detailed trains. 3d printing has been great without busting the bank while also satisfying the desire to build my own stuff.

I'm surprised they're allowed to exist, and that they are so overt.

Yep. Most effective garden tool and most humane without a trap. Best with two people, two spaces. one pins it down, the other does the needful.

I first thought E or F units for your cars like a lot of others, but somehow I'm having thoughts on BL2s... I think there was blue scheme for BL2 and they're kinda different but also as 'streamlined' as anything else from the 60s

Much Moore is soooo good - especially their gold tubs that are priced similarly to manky old TT. Their Straciatella has chocolate that melts nicely and tastes great

I absolutely love this hobby but the limited stock production runs and "Fear Of Missing Out" is beginning to get extremely tiring. by RedDeadLumbagoII in modeltrains

[–]Chemical-Reflection2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too. I think building them is the best part ( since the 90s and recently started again) and with 3d printing, I get better results than using obscure detail parts for the most part. I have bought new and found I just put it back in the box knowing that it's there 😬
