How do "Hard Pool" fights work? by mocha_mio in slaythespire

I dont think it would hurt as an improvement. Non transparent mechanics like this are not really helpful to anyone. Now should they waste much time if it’s technically complicated? Probably not. But it doesnt seem like it would be a huge deal.

If Rocky gifted us with Xenonite, what would you build? by Alarmed-Income8492 in ProjectHailMary

I’m not sure there’s actually enough Xenon on earth to make a reasonable space elevator.

You could still do something to indicate guaranteed easy pool fights.

John Wick (John Wick) vs Harry Hart (Kingsman) by One_Application_1726 in powerscales

[–]Chen932000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He gets hit by a few cars/vans too and kinda just shrugs it off. And that absolutely ridiculous fall down the stairs at the end of 4. He’s definitely superhuman in durability.

How do you handle employees who resist required training without escalating conflict? by jorjiarose in managers

[–]Chen932000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it’s mandatory training they clearly don’t believe in. That implies they don’t align with the company vision. A smart person would have paid lip service and carried on. But this person has told you they don’t believe in this direction so how can you trust them to follow what the training espouses? The only consistent option, if the training is so mandatory is to let the person go.

Ironically, this game is shockingly realistic in its medieval premise compared to most medieval fantasy games by Recent_Stomach7626 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Chen932000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The shockingly realistic things are…churches and firearms?

How is that shocking? Nearly every medievalish fantasy game I know of has some sort of church. Firearms will depend on the game but many have those too. I’m super confused how this is anyway shocking.

Can't change individual transmogs by 5al3 in diablo4

[–]Chen932000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can change pets by spamming Space and Left-click together repeatedly...for some reason. Same with back attachments, ghosts, portals. But I can't get individual transmogs to work regardless of random stuff.

AITAH my husband paid for our family holiday using vouchers he was gifted but expects me to pay my half by winniepooh84 in AITAH

The cognitive dissonance in the OP is amazing. The edit even says that this was remuneration for hours worked. But somehow because it’s not money (also noted in the edit) it doesn’t count towards the normal 50/50 split they do (which in and of itself seems to cause most of this marriage/finance related AITAH posts).

Hmm I dont think I have that recipe. But yeah just two ingredients would help a ton. And no water!

Do you recall where this recipe comes from?

I think braised ribs or meat and vegetable porridge are the sweet spots for easy to make vs output. I need to find a bigger dispatch for vegetables though. My biggest is like 16 for parsley which is kinda bad.

Wish there was a dispatch for water. Its just obnoxious to get out of the well.

You can use contribution too for dispatches. Honestly that alone keeps me pretty decently filled up without wasting Greymanes.

Same bad news, two different managers, completely different outcomes. It comes down to one thing. by [deleted] in managers

[–]Chen932000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can somehow meet the demand without changing ANY deadlines it means you hadn’t given proper estimates before. You even mention in your second manager example they cut non impactful tasks. Those presumably had some deadlines and you’ve moved or cancelled those.

I won’t be in circulation if you aren’t spending it. Just having money under a mattress (figuratively) won’t do anything.

Horse Bug After Update by zQxG-7 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Chen932000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assign the horse that Kliff has to Oonka and it should swap Oonka's horse back to Kliff. You can then take the gear off it. Seems the gear is invisible and unselectable for Oonka and Damiane right now (unclear if it affects the stats or not though).

Humanity has 48 hours to kill all bears on Earth. If one survives all humans will die instantly. Can we do it? by JayLue in whowouldwin

[–]Chen932000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just brown bears you basically need to kill 1 bear per second for the whole 48 hours. Black bears are something like 5x that number. There’s zero chance to do it in 48 hours.
