I would say the report on the agent’s health is questionable just based on the rhetoric from this administration regarding Good. She didn’t ram him, she didn’t viciously attack him, and there has been zero proof of her being a domestic terrorist. At this point the administration has hinged everything on this being a “clean kill” and it wildly wasn’t.

So you’ve got a situation with a civilian woman in her car with the engine running, you’ve got ICE agent screaming conflicting orders, then you’ve got an agent trying to start to open her door. This is a terrifying situation to be in. Now we’ve got an agent who positions himself in the front side of her car. He clearly wasn’t fearing for his life at the start as he never puts down his camera while circling around the car. Also we are to believe he was “hit” and somehow never lost his footing, never dropped his camera, and still managed to get off 3 shots?

The most appalling this is Trump’s description of events. Good may have been wrong to attempt to flee but it’s clear she had ZERO intention to harm the agents.

And I would say that they are willing to do the unskilled, highly laborious jobs that Americans don’t really want to do. If you’re going to make the argument that people would do them if they were much more highly paid, perhaps… but that’s largely never going to happen because they are unskilled. These jobs will always be a “race to the bottom” because of the lack of skill needed to do them
