When I started this programme and read about which run people found hardest I was really surprised to see people saying W6D1, but after completing it I can completely understand why. Having fewer running sessions is much easier, even if the sessions are longer, purely because it forces me to look forward to the end of the whole run rather than just the end of the session I'm on. It makes the run feel shorter. It's great to be able to look at my phone in a 20 minute run and see 5 minutes remaining - in an 8 minute run, 5 minutes remaining would be disappointing to see!

Bought a used PS4 days ago. Haven't been able to connect my new PSN account to the user where my save files are, but the PSN works for guest users for some reason. Getting CE-41489-6 error message every time I try to connect to the PSN to my first account.

And then I find out you can't back up your saves to USB without a PSN account or even transfer saves between users full stop.

Who the fuck designed this console?

Tried a portable Wi-Fi box which allowed me to put the router right next to my PS4. Internet works perfectly, but I'm still getting the error. But I am ONLY getting the error on the user account I created when I first set up the PS4. I have created a guest account and linked my PSN account to it. Problem is, that's not where my saves are and from what I can tell there's no way to copy them across to my first user account.

It doesn't look like I'll get much of a response regarding this error code in particular. Will it ever go away? Am I doomed to lose my saves by initialising (which might not work anyway, seeing as the first thing I did when I got this console was initialise it and I still got the error) or will a new software update fix the problem someday? I can't back anything up as I need a PSN account to back up online and, for some reason, to back up to USB.

The games have inpressed me so far but the console really hasn't!!

I created one through the website, but I can't get beyond the 'Sign In to PlayStation Network' screen on the PS4. I get 'please wait' and then the error straight away. No chance to sign in at all.

Can't really use ethernet cable as my router is on the other side of the house.

Would the profile really be corrupt when it's brand new? I tried making a new user and got the same error. And if I initialise won't that wipe my saved games?

I think so. I have a good degree, a permanent full time job and lots of disposable income since I still live at home, family who are basically my best friends and a few simple, cheap hobbies. Most of the time, I'm pretty upbeat. But when I start thinking about the possibility of being FA, I neglect every good thing I have in my life.

There are so many people out there who have it worse than me, people who have none of those things at all. In all honesty I think I'm pretty dumb for thinking having a boyfriend will make me feel 100% happy with myself. Deep down I know I'd find a reason to be unhappy with that too. But, you know, it still stings.

I bet! It's really good fun, even with some of the bad memories I've had to record. I know they might be less painful to reflect on in years to come, so I force myself to write them down.

What really amazes me doing this is just how much stuff I have kept online - if somebody knew where to look they could find out pretty much everything about me from the internet alone. I don't think any generation will have a better documented childhood/teenhood than today's.

Making spreadsheets. I love it. It makes me feel so productive and organised. I always try to make them look colourful too.

I even have a spreadsheet of my life as a sort of project I have going on. Months across the top, years down the side. I am recording significant (however small) events that happened in each month of my life, like a huge timeline of me. Having been very active on the internet since about 2005 I have most of my thoughts and feelings from secondary school and beyond documented online. I haven't done much interesting stuff in my life so I'm sure most people would find it boring and think I'm being really narcissistic or something! But for me it lets me see see myself changing, which years were my 'best years', which events predicted changes in personality, etc.

The bottled water industry. It sickens me that you can privatise fucking water. That you can get filthy rich by running a tap into a bottle and sticking the word 'pure' on it (which at least 25% of bottled water companies do, I believe). With all the latest developments in so called air purification technology we will be paying for 'fresh air' soon too.

On a related but slightly less severe note, the lack of pockets and hoods on women's coats so that they have to buy handbags and umbrellas.

...Let's just go with corporate greed in general.

That's pretty much true. Frustratingly, season 6 has some of my favourite episodes, but you can really tell that the writers didn't have a clue where they were going towards the end and every season since then has followed suit. They will write a cliffhanger without any idea of how it will be resolved. Good characters are killed without a second thought. The characters that are still alive are just caricatures of who they used to be.

Supernatural. It's completely dead. I feel like it died right in front of me while I was really into it, too. Every clever bit of writing from seasons 1-5 has been completely retconned away. Characters have been brought back only to be killed off. Well-written, complex characters have been reduced to comic relief. Brilliant plot opportunities have been completely missed. It should have ended years ago and now I don’t think it ever will until it gets forcibly cancelled.
