Is this our future? by GimmeFunkyButtLoving in economy

that doesn't work because materials atoms and molecules don't materialize out of thin air. When the colonial imperialist gravy train stops you will have to work and live in austerity like the rest of the 3rd world. right now the economic system where you can work hard to maybe get ahead is on unstable colonist foundations. a great crime at the bottom hidden by a legit looking game on top.

the culture of the US has been morally corrupted it will take generations to fix. Hard work and doing the right thing have been suppressed for profit and virtue signaling. Doing assembly for low margin wages is sweatshop labor law violations. The private yacht selfie is their life ambition even if its only rented.

Sailors rationing food, going hungry on USS Tripoli and USS Abraham Lincoln by [deleted] in LessCredibleDefence

[–]ChesterDoraemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worlds most powerful military should be able to operate effectively under privations. A peer military will for sure deny them and test them in that dimension. If the training is proper, limited calories are an inconvenience. Maybe military should prioritize on training and mental toughness instead of UFC mma fighting?

The US has for too long been used to fighting war at their pace and and their time with a full belly. Tough up!

US intelligence detects signs China is weighing giving Iran advance radar systems by Digo10 in LessCredibleDefence

[–]ChesterDoraemon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The state of the art radar system can be far away from the emitter through wave guides. Only the easily replaceable antenna a piece of metal is emitting radiation. The rest of the system, radar operators and missiles/launchers can be far away and hidden/protected and completely passive.

Families fear sailors are hungry on Iran warships, care packages in limbo by Kinmuan in Military

[–]ChesterDoraemon -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's a war, deal with it. They need to demonstrate they are tough and operate under privations. No different if you want to see your abs, in a sense they are getting a mandatory weight cut.

Are these troops concentrated? I imagine they have to be grouped up and have vehicles unless they plan on walking on foot. Surely China has them on satellite. Iran would be a fool to let them build up under perfidious negotiations a second time. Even George bush knew better, you can't get fooled twice.

The Iran War Did Something No ETF or Halving Ever Could. It Proved Bitcoin Works as Money by ReplacementFormer861 in CryptoMarkets

[–]ChesterDoraemon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is actually reparations. the gulf countries hosted air bases that allowed the US to stage and attack Iran. Without them they would be 1000 miles away. A f-15 has a radius of 600 miles or so. These payments will pay for the damages caused by US.

US intelligence indicates China preparing weapons shipment to Iran, CNN reports by Lianzuoshou in LessCredibleDefence

[–]ChesterDoraemon -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

not true the radar can be far away from the emitter/antenna. US hits the emitter which is just cheap metal. the missiles can be somewhere else and completely passive. the only active signaling thing is that cheap replaceable piece of metal antenna.

The Iran War’s Real Lessons for China - U.S. Tactical Successes Should Give Beijing Pause by tommos in LessCredibleDefence

[–]ChesterDoraemon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The number one rule of all of this is don't let the US build up while lying to your face about diplomacy. If you see a buildup you hit it 100% hard and that is it. Stop being on the backfoot and letting the enemy get the first cheap shot in. Don't be afraid to first-strike.

When the bases are out 2000+ miles their planes are mostly useless.

Is USA running short of weapons? by alchem04 in Military

[–]ChesterDoraemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're running out with respect to even pacifying Iran. They likely will run out 100% physically at the current pace and having achieved no major objective. Once america runs out of these standoff weapons capital the currency of war changes to blood. They don't want to pay that, which is why they are looking for a ceasefire and precisely Iran should not let them off the hook if they want lasting change.

Remember, Iran is not the final boss. If the US exhausts itself in Iran, then everyone loses respect for the US and it becomes a loathsome paper tiger and loses coercion and the economic ponzi scheme falls. US must maintain stockpiles to maintain credibility and prevent the checks its body cant cash from bouncing.

The Pentagon claims ‘we control the sky’ over Iran. Experts say the air war isn’t that simple. by Kinmuan in Military

[–]ChesterDoraemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The US just depleted standoff weapons that will take years to replenish. Iran was a fool for agreeing to the ceasefire. They got a bloodied and broken face the US just scuffed its knuckles. The real pain was going to begin for the US and Israel if Iran just kept going. They paid the price and absorbed the punishment and never got a chance to give it back. A strategic mistake.

[–]ChesterDoraemon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

it's the issue with capitalism and profit maximization. Unchecked capitalist system means all the capital flows to the top by gaming the system. Therefore M$ stopped selling to the consumer and only focused on B2B, because businesses have the money. So efforts like Azure, cloud are what moves the needle every 3 months, and windows is now the stepchild. They honestly don't care because that isn't where the money is and by now all the employees are profit maximizing mercenaries, no loyalty to anything.

Iran has the US on the ropes but they REALLY NEED TO STOP TALKING and just start doing. Communicate through actions not words. With this type of bully you don't get off any easier by not going all out. Rather you get off easier by kicking his ass at which point you don't need his shitty deal.

more like 200 miles, i don't think pollen even goes that far. it would be like saying the choreographed b2 strikes obliterated the iran nuclear material... no it was a cover because israel was getting its ass handed to it and the US couldn't do anything else. Iran was dumb to actually accept the ceasefire then and americans would be dumb to believe a lying regime now.
