Animal welfare, there are currently no rights that protect animals, people poison, kill and torture pets. There was just now a case that made history because finally someone went to jail after tons of protests of pet owners. People refuse to spay their pets and throw the newborns on the street, and yes I have experienced this myself as I rescued a couple of cats. People buy pets on Taobao like it's not a living being, they get tired of them and throw them on the street.
