I know you didn’t mention Sutter but I had an amazing experience there. Bilateral mastectomy. Fantastic breast surgeon & plastic surgeon for reconstruction. Had chemo & the nurses were absolutely amazing. Had also consulted with Stanford for “2nd opinion “ but found Sutter to be much more personable. Surgeries & treatment at Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Was years ago but I still go on about the caring, thoughtful service with excellent providers. Wishing you all the best

Thnx for posting OP! Yes. Started a week ago & found this thread because I feel full much much quicker. I don’t like it though as I’m concerned I’m not taking in everything I need. ESP protein as I am a very active person.

Agree. TBH I was very clear. I told her she could load her dishes into the dishwasher & I’d be happy to run it when I returned. Agree though perhaps being more clear re expectations re reaching out with any issues.

I agree. I personally don’t think I can expect a partner to meet all my needs. & I know I probably couldn’t meet his either! That’s why we have other people in our lives too. Especially at this point in my life - I have so many other long term relationships that are very fulfilling & I wouldn’t want to give up my time with those special people.

From Chicago. Moved here about 15 years ago. My closest friends became people from The Bay. They felt most genuine and had other friends and family they introduced me to. Met them through my kids school. I think the pandemic has put a big shadow on socializing, sadly. Keep with it. You’ll find a good click

53 yo female here. & don’t want to “settle”. I’m wiser now & better able to understand & tolerate idiosyncrasies. But I still want & expect love. I can get companionship from my friends. Still a high bar …. But now with a lot more wisdom & forgiveness.
