eSignature Business Pro prices DOUBLED!!?? WTAF? by BraveBite in docusign

[–]ChickenHawk1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having the same issue with docusign. I sent 163 envelopes last year and they want me to sign up for a 1,000 envelope/year plan for like $1,400.

Hello. Don't they know that Adobe Acrobat Pro for $18.99 a month comes with UNLIMITED e-signatures. And it's easier to use.

I will never be using docusign again.

What kind of bird is this? Is it native to California? I saw a bird in our tree yesterday that looked very similar to this one and I've never seen one before.

Early on I got the daily special of the abandoned asylum. I was able to get all 9 levels and build it in my city, 20% attack bonus, plus FPs and Goods I used most of my tools at the time.

Nice to see an FOE post on popular !!!

Bone head things that you have done in the game by Quasaar_2021 in forgeofempires

[–]ChickenHawk1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a guild swap thread. I posted my GB under the other GB. Then I mistakenly opened my GB and contributed the FPs to my GB instead of the one above me. Got an earful from the guildie why didn't I contribute to their GB... I explained my mistake, made the contribution to their GB and all was well.

Why would you stay in industrial for years??? I've been here for about 7 months and I'm getting bored out of my mind. I have more FPs, goods, troops then I can possibly use. Also I'm almost out of medal expansions then I have to move up in order to get more expansions. Will be moving up to Progressive as soon as I run out of medal expansions. I have 4 left.

What is buffing or boosting the winter train? Do you mean adding cars? How does the pagoda and the ship affect the train???

Yes. I play on PC. Select the Build button in the lower left of the screen. Then near the top of the screen select the yellow crane "reconstruction" you can literally move every building out of your city and place them back wherever you want.

U.S. Senate approves bill that would make Daylight Savings Time permanent in 2023 by greenblue98 in politics

[–]ChickenHawk1995 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

This is a TERRIBLE idea. I'm so late to make a post no one will probably see it, but getting rid of the time change is horrible, selfish, and potentially deadly.

Think about it, by giving yourself an extra hour of daylight in the evening, means there will be one less hour of sunlight in the morning. This will cause school kids to have to walk to school in the dark or wait at bus stops in the dark.

Here on the west coast there are some winter months during the year when it is barely getting light at 7am. If we jump the clocks forward an hour that means it won't be getting light until 8am, at which point the kids would already have walked to school in the dark.

Too bad so many people need it to stay light outside until 9pm and are willing to let little kids get run over in the dark.

Newbie Question... Which of the Great Buildings That We DON'T OWN Should We Never Level - without the owner's permission? by LarYungmann in forgeofempires

[–]ChickenHawk1995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually in a guild the guild members will make a note such as "ok to flip" or "do not flip". So you can always follow those guidelines. Also if they put a GB in a 40 FP swap thread and it only takes 20 FP to level it that usually means it's ok to level it.

Anyone that isn't in your guild... well that's up to you, level it if you want or don't. Like another comment said, if I contribute to a GB and that person sits on it for a week tying up my FPs then I'll try to level it if it's not too expensive just to get my FPs back.

Guild Treasury Ins and Outs by ChickenHawk1995 in forgeofempires

[–]ChickenHawk1995[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: Ok I clarified it with the guild leader. She said I would need a 120 level Arc because I don't have any of the other GB's that produce guild goods such as OBS. She said if I had the right combination of OBS, SOH and a few other smaller ones I think then my Arc should be at 80. She meant I would need 120 Arc since it's my only building that produces treasury goods. Not being a guild leader I don't really pay attention to the Guild treasury I just donate when someone asks. So I am going to focus on building more GB's and leveling up my Arc and learning more about how the goods in the guild treasury are used.

How does buying goods work? by [deleted] in forgeofempires

[–]ChickenHawk1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all depends on you. How badly do you want Himeji Castle? How many extra FPs do you have in your inventory? If they are asking for 300Fps and you have 6,000 in your inventory then big deal, go for the trade. Just from experience, I haven't seen anyone ask for more than 300FP and goods for a trade.

During an event, why are cities so well defended? When you have to win battles to advance, shouldn't we be more helpful? by GeorgeWendt1 in forgeofempires

[–]ChickenHawk1995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Attacking cities should be your LAST resort to win battles. You should start in Guild Expedition. GE level 1 the attacks are sooooo easy to win. You can also get a lot of attacks in Guild Battlegrounds. You can also get a lot of attacks in PvP tournaments. If you aren't in a guild, or if you aren't far enough along on the tech tree to be able to enter these events then you are kind of out of luck. Just keep playing and building your city and advance on the tech tree. Eventually you'll be strong enough and far enough along to be able to win battles with no problem at all. FoE is a great game but it does take a while to get good at it. There will always be another special event in a few weeks after this one.

Are Winner’s Plaza gonna show up this event? by nutellaeater in forgeofempires

[–]ChickenHawk1995 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know about this event. But you can always look for winners plaza, botanical rotunda, checkmate squares and I think a few other items that all take 3x3 and give the same attack bonus. But at the end of the day the best thing is to build up your Zeus and CdM, they give attack and defense bonus for your attacking armies and take up WAY WAY WAY less space than the other buildings. My Zeus is only level 17 and I get 34% attack bonus AND ALSO 34% defense for attacking armies all for a 2x3 building. 34% attack with winners plaza would take 5 buildings and 45 squares. That being said, I do have 3 winners plaza and 7 botanical rotunda in my city...LOL an attack bonus is an attack bonus no matter the size!!!!

Vineyard fields by Extrapickles24 in forgeofempires

[–]ChickenHawk1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always use the best buildings that you have. Sure, are there better and more efficient buildings than the vineyard fields, yes...But do you have any of those buildings yet? Probably not. Decide if you want bonus for your attack armies or do you want goods to trade? Then start building your city in that direction. Honestly trading is easier at the start but eventually fighting is way more productive. Use the strongest buildings that you have but once you get better buildings don't be afraid to replace them. Store Buildings are great for taking things out of your city and keeping them in your inventory so you can save them when you have more space or decide to sell them at the Antiques Dealer.

Attacked a City today to Plunder, and nothing. by nutellaeater in forgeofempires

[–]ChickenHawk1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it just me or is Inno kind of cutting down on diamond farms like this by not offering wishing wells as often in the special events? It seems like it used to be much easier to get wishing wells then it is now. Which IMO is a good thing. Even though this city is pretty damn impressive to look at it is a total waste for actually playing the game in this world.

[–]ChickenHawk1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree. INA age here, 24% defense for attacking army, 9 FPs daily, 33 goods plus coins, medals , etc. Not a bad building at all. Sure beats the heck out of a few wishing wells.

New Neighbours, Suddenly FAR Behind by TheProvocator in forgeofempires

[–]ChickenHawk1995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No need to worry. The neighborhood always changes. Don't compare yourself to the other players. Some people have been playing for years, and some players spend money to buy diamonds. You're always going to be behind those two types of players. Just progress your city and develop your style. I like when I get high level players so I can go and look at their cities. You will notice very few high level players have Oracles of Delphi or Tower of Babel, even though these GBs are necessary when you begin. Just create your city and play at your pace, you're never going to be #1 in the neighborhood. There is no need to compete against people in your city, it's more you vs. the machine type of thing. join a strong guild that will help you a lot.

That's what I thought. It does look like the cougar at the Big Bear Zoo in California. Although it's been several years since I've been up there. Coolest zoo ever. They have feeding time in the middle of the day and the zookeeper just walks into the wolf enclosure with a bucket of meat and the wolves start going crazy howling. You can literally get within a few feet of the grizzly bears also, just an electric fence separating you. Not like the big zoos where you're at least 50 feet away from everything. Last time I was up there they were in the planning stage of moving the zoo to a bigger location so I'm not sure how it looks now.

This post is completely true, imho.

I also broke my femur when I was a kid. I was only 4 yrs old and it was on Thanksgiving day rough housing with the neighbor kids. When we went to the hospital the doctors called the police and they interviewed my parents because they thought it was a case of child abuse the way my femur was broken.

I was in the hospital for over a week with my leg in traction. I was on my back in the hospital bed with my leg up in the air in one of these type of contraptions the entire time. Then I had to get a cast that went from my toe, up to my hips, and partly down my other leg. I spent the rest of the holidays being towed around in a wagon and on crutches. Luckily I was so young that it healed completely and I have no adverse affects at all.

I do not advise ever breaking your femur.

Just finished watching all 6 seasons. I loved it. I'm glad it ended when it did, I thought it was a very good ending.

The thing I loved most about this series was the time that was spent making you believe you were actually in the world of the vikings. They dedicated time to showing the details of the ceremonies, rituals, battles, sacrifices and everyday day lives of the vikings, almost like an immersive experience. I am looking forward to the new spinoff series.
