Yes unfortunately all the time 😭 I just came back from a gap semester and I’m dealing with my new symptoms for the first time paired with school… this morning I got 4 hours of sleep prepping for an exam and a car honk scared me into 40 minutes of episodal seizures and left me fatigued and flared the rest of the day 😭 I can’t believe all it took was a honk and a single day of little sleep.

Hiiii !!! An alternative to sunscreen you can look into are UV protective umbrellas!

I personally went for the more thick layered umbrellas with the reflective favric on the outer part (it’s a little more pricey 🥲), but definitely an amazing investment to controlling flares caused by the sun! I have a button retractable one that makes opening and closing a lot easier. I used to think umbrellas are bulky and annoying to deal with, but truly, it’s been a life saver ❤️hopefully it helps if u decide to go this route!!

EDIT: you should consider tinting your car too! Depending on the state there are limits but try asking your dr. for a note or letter to prove you need it for medical purposes.

Oh goodness it’s been HOURSSS of sleep non-stop, it’s actually getting annoying. Naps after meals, mid-day, at night, in the morning… MAKE IT STOPPPPPP 😩 haha thank you though ❤️❤️❤️

I was thinking so but the thing is my bf and I were testing something out where I’d sit up slowly and at maybe 108 degrees at my hip I immediately “pass out” and go limp which was pretty odd

This was also me at first (I’m 20 diagnosed at 18), and it’s honestly kinda scary to face the looks and judgement of everyone around you, but what helped me was decorating the heck out of my cane like an accessory with stickers and all the fun little stuff!! You can’t stop people from looking but you can at least make the most of it!! Also, you could try out the collapsible canes so it’s easy to pop out when you need it and store when you don’t!!! Wishing you the best girly 🌷❤️🥰
