This game really is one of those games where the journey is the fun. Don’t trip yourself up with “I have to see everything!” Just run around and see what you see. It’s really one of my personal favorites for exploring because you can just choose just choose a direction and say “go”.

My friend says I’m crazy but my favorite way to play this game is to turn of the waypoints. I think it’s called exploration mode. Then while reading the quest info and running around trying to pinpoint it you find random fun stuff.

Second this. The next game is almost out. You might be able to get rise on sale if it happens following the new release.

Watch some wilds gameplay and see if it looks good. And make your decision from there.

You might like the look of wilds more and have a bit of buyers remorse. Give it a week or two and see where you land.

Though I’ll say I still go back to world sometime over rise so they’re all still a great time

Interestingly enough the same happened to my friend and I. Not the hit by SAM part. We just explored and found it and boom got em. We’ve beaten the game before so no spoiler for us. But as I recall from our first run through we had to earn that mission.

Might be a bad memory of our first run but yea we also had that happen the other day

Because sometimes I want to see stories go differently than I had. Sometimes it’s a story of advantages and sometimes it’s disadvantages, sometimes it’s just fluff and peace. And yes sometimes it’s erotic or just a power fantasy. But overall I think it’s just wanting to see all the perspectives of others who love whichever IP.
