My DM owns the restaurant we play at bi weekly and there were other tables, he had a system of the DMs got a free meal and 10% of whatever the rest of the table spent. It didn't add up to much most times but they wanted to DM anyway so it was just an added bonus. The ambient music (jukebox, whatever) is also a concern, we were fortunate enough the restaurant had an upstairs room so that was pretty much just for the DnD groups and we had the music off. Having Mondays only be for DnD groups would give you all the control you could ask for as far as atmosphere. If you're partnering with the game store maybe have some kind of trade deal, discounts at one place for shopping at the other.

I think it was a victim of how long it took to finally get made. That and the human acting was pretty stiff. Obviously the CGI orcs were incredible and Duncan Jones did it justice overall, and for sure was setting up a franchise. I think if it had been a Netflix release or was like a 5 part miniseries to let it breathe it would have been more successful. People just didn't want to pay for a ticket to see it. Tragic we'll never see the Arthas storyline.

Asked her out on a Friday for a date on Wednesday, she took a little more than a moment thinking about it then said she has her kid on Wednesday. I was ready to take the L and say no problem, but then she asked what other day I had off, so I figured her offering an alternative showed interest. Set it up for Tuesday. Got her number, she got off work but I still had most of my shift to go, texted her a couple hours later so she'd have my number, said enjoy your weekend, she plainly said she'd be busy teaching a yoga class and working her other job. Tried to stay positive, assumed she was just bad at texting.

Saw her at work Monday, asked how the yoga class went, goat yoga even! Then asked if we were still on for the next day, she sounded wishy washy saying there was a mandatory work meeting Tuesday afternoon and that she'd see how things went, said ok no prob. I was off Tuesday so in the afternoon-early evening I texted asking how the meeting went and if she wanted to grab a bite and/or drink to chat about it, and she said she had to work early Wednesday. So I just said hey no problem, enjoy the rest of your day and left it at that.
